I am a little confused as the reviews are so good. Cute location, super fast and friendly service. BUT the $4 cup of coffee was tiny - yes free refills but the cup was a joke - , the type you get at conventions but without a saucer or spoon, the small orange juice is served in a tiny small latte glass and my french toast was 1 slice only which came a little burnt and was so small that I thought 'where is the rest of it'? Usually portions in America are so enormous that I can never finish anything and usually wonder about all that waste of food. Here I left hungry and I am not a big eater to start with. One slice of small toast isn't really good enough. Felt a bit cheated.

We had the burger which is incredible! We've been eating seafood every day and we needed something else and this was it! Also had the shrimp and pork belly appetizer and lastly the cheesecake desert. Also, the mixed drinks were great. We will come back and try more of the menu. Prices are fair and our server Kaya was the best.Mahalo for the 5-star review! We will share your awesome comments with our service and culinary team. We can't wait for you to come back and experience a few more of our tasty menu items!

My wife and I had dinner at Royâs Eating House 1849 in Koloa in late September 2019. My wife had the Butterfish bowl and I had the Blacken Ahi. My Ahi was excellent however, my wifeâs Butterfish was fishy tasting and disappointing. Our service was slow for reasons never explained to us. Royâs is expensive and it is nice to treat yourself to a great meal occasionally but our dining experience was not special that evening. We have eaten at numerous Royâs before and will again as this dining experience was probably an anomaly. There is free parking nearby.

We've been looking for a good plate lunch close to Poipu. We finally found it! Fast friendly service from this small, well worn restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly guy as we checked out the menu. While we debated, several locals came in and ordered up their food. Our food was better than expected. Awesome Loco Moco complete with runny eggs and a delish #3 special.Decent portions - we shared two meals for a family of four. As an added bonus, only 5 minutes to Salt Pond Beach. What an awesome find!!

The pork belly is amazing. It's surprisingly light and a little spicy. The turmeric hibiscus tea is sublime and refreshing. There's a lovely table inside the warehouse where you can eat out of the sun. The food is reasonably priced and they take credit cards.

We visited this place on the recommendation of a local. They also recommended the smoked meats there. I must say that they were delicious. However, I made the mistake of ordering the brisket which, while very tasty, was extremely fatty. Locals later told me that the pork was the better bet.

I'm a poke fan to start with, even the slimyish stuff from the grocery store if I can get it so this was a real treat. The seasoning was perfect, the fish was amazingly fresh and the rice perfectly cooked. Best poke I have had on the island (and I order it everywhere I can get it.) Soooo good!
