Steakhouse
Visited Orleans on an overnight stop on the last leg of our holiday, so fancied a treat, after a walk round, we found this steakhouse, and what a treat it was, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the desserts were amazing! Would highly recommend.

we had to stop last week en route to Charente from Beauvais airport due to late flight, wet weather & as we already knew of this stop off motorway being well supplied with hotels. In need of somewhere to eat on a Monday night we chose First Grill as it was opposite our hotel & was open, what a pleasant surprise.... huge buffet on offer including oysters langoustines, good choice of hot dishes & freshly cooked to order choice from the grill. The place was very busy by 8pm, the magret de canard with sauce au poivre was excellent, waitress was friendly & helpful, drinks service was fast. Not your normal motorway service fare, not gourmet cuisine, but a very pleasant meal. Next door to PromoCash, so everything fresh & desserts of good standard. would definitely return next time we are in the region & need to stop for the night.

Our first experience of Moroccan food and we were captivated. Although the downstairs of this quaint, authentic restaurant was looking a little tired on the grey, foggy, January lunchtime of our visit, the food was colourful, fragrant and tasty. Genuinely a feast for the senses. With father as proud host, one daughter on reception, mother cooking and a son waiting on tables, this was very much a family affair and we felt welcomed as guests. The rooms upstairs were colourful decorated with Moroccan artefacts with one being draped and.lined like a desert tent or pavilion. Charmingly done. The wine ( we chose a spicey Moroccan vintage) was extremely pleasant and complemented our feast of charcoal grilled lamb and gambetta kebabs perfectly. We shall return.
