Breda (Dutch pronunciation: [breːˈdaː] ( listen)) is a city and municipality in the southern part of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Brabant. The name Breda derived from brede Aa ('wide Aa' or 'broad Aa') and refers to the confluence of the rivers Mark and Aa. As a fortified city, the city was of strategic military and political significance. Although a direct Fiefdom of the Holy Roman Emperor, the city obtained a municipal charter; the acquisition of Breda, through marriage, by the House of Nassau ensured that Breda would be at the center of political and social life in the Low Countries. Breda had a population of 183,456 in 2017; the metropolitan area had a population of 324,812. It is part of the Brabantse Stedenrij.

Had a wonderful evening. Very good staff, friendly and fast. We loved the meals. They serve lots of different gin tonics as well. Go here and have drinks in Cafe Noir afterwards.

It is a real barrestaurant with an enormous selection in 'special' beers. I really enjoyed the evening with friends while enjoying the simple but well made bar food like hamburgers and finger foods. All the while drinking a wide selection of special beers. The service was also very good with good knowledge of the different type of beers and overall just an amazing atmosphere.

Great quality and taste of dishes. Great service, nice garden. Place is good covered from noise of surrounding areas and streets. Huge wine selection. Really recommend this place for celebrations. We have spend 3h there and not even realize that time has passed.The atmosphere is really nice and the Service excellent. The price Niveau from the Starters to high...the quality could better. The Main course food are in the same price Level and it was amazing.

A modest little restaurant tucked away at the edge of the city centre.Seats are comfortabele, owners very friendly and portions very generous.As for the actual food - delicious! Authentic Iraqi dishes, traditional herbs and spices and the meat has a lovely grilled flavour.Absolutly recommended, but do go with an empty stomach!

Really nice place. Very nice food, compliments to Teis ;). Also loved the secret cocktail bar, didnât like the first cocktail the made me but I got the next one for free.

Very friendly staff! Good sushi en asian specialities. You can choose different small plates with delicious tastes. 28 euro and you can order as much as you want. Desert is not included. Definitely worth a visit if you like good food and have time to spend an evening in a cosy atmosphere.
