Sant Joan d'Alacant (Valencian pronunciation: [saɲ dʒuˈan dalaˈkant]) is a municipality belonging to Alicante metropolitan area, in the southeast of Valencian Community, Spain. It is the geographic center of the Old Garden of Alicante. Its limits are with the settled areas of Alicante (7 km), Mutxamel (1 km) and El Campello (3 km). It is within the Alicante metropolitan area and shares the same fire department and metro services. Its population growth is due to its function as a bedroom community, as well as in recent years, its isolation from tourist areas, its cultural and academic activities, and because has part of the campus of the University Miguel Hernández of Elx/Elche. It comprises two zones: the town of Sant Joan and Benimagrell, which is now joined through its urban expansion.

Katana is a very small outlet with 9 Bar chairs which is located within the Central Market in Alicante. Run by three young people, they produce excellent Sushi, Tuna Tataki, a very creative beef tartare, Vietnamese dishes, and other. Three people with a bottle of Ribeiro â¬109.00 plus tip. Very nice. Todo delicioso. Remarcable el pollo almendrado y los tallarines de la mÃa mamma. Servicio amable y rápido aunque un poco desordenado. Volveré seguro. Además, no es caro aunque como en todas partes, depende de lo que pidas.

A good number of well though starters and limited number of main dishes (3 meat and 3 fish, plus 2 options outside the menu), which I personally think it's the best combination for a menu.The food was delicious and the meat was melting as butter in my mouth, extremely well cooked. Waiters were so friendly and nice. And, oh là là , the wine list is the most impressive, broad, well selected and intelligent one I've seen in at least 10 years. I personally congratulated the somelier, another super nice person which adviced us greatly. I'm going to keep this short, because there is a plethora of glowing reviews about this amazing five table restaurant. That it compares with or exceeds the culinary experiences we've had at many famous destination dining spots is simply stunning when you consider that it's entire staff consists of the husband and wife team of Olivia and Fernando. The dining experience was exceptional, every dish was memorable. This restaurant is for those who adore great food. Just two tips. Make reservations and order their foie gras -- it will take you to gastronomic heaven.

Great location for people watching, beer garden has a lovely water mist spray for the really hot days to cool you down. they do table service , bottled drinks very cheap. Good atmosphere.

I visited Alicante 15 times. This restaurant is the best I've been to here. Refined meals, colorful and with many combinations of flavors. I remeber these flavours from Peru.
