Sant Adrià de Besòs (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsant əðɾiˈa ðə βəˈzɔs]) is a city and a municipality within the comarca of Barcelonès in Catalonia, north-eastern Spain. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast, at the mouth of river Besòs, extending to both sides of the estuary although the original settlement with the parish church lies on the left bank of the river, in the northern part of town. Wow!!!! We arrived, not being sure what to expect. The greeting was warm and genuine which set the tone for a fantastic evening,Everything we ate was sublime, a delicate balance of flavours, excellent produce and inventive culinary skill.One of the best meals of my life.Stand out dishes were, cheese pebbles, tomatoes with aubergine, almond gazpacho with melon and peach, pork cheeks with peach and beetroot mouse.All stunning as were the staff.

Three years ago I went to La Cholita and wrote this about them:âI was visiting by myself and saw over 40 positive reviews and NO negative reviews and thought I would try them. The food was not only terrific⦠in fact one of the best meals I have had in months but the staff was so wonderful with the fact that I don't speak any Spanish.They are friendly and that combined with great food make this a go to place. I have only 2 regrets...1) I can only give them 5 stars when they deserve more 2) They do not have a place near me.Go there... you will not regret it !!!!!!âI went back to Barcelona last week with my girlfriend and revisited La Cholita. They now have 574 reviews ⦠77% Excellent ⦠18% Very Good⦠that adds up to 95%... WOWThey are now rated 158 of 10,467 of places to eat in Barcelona⦠WOWThe food was as wonderful as I had remembered⦠the service was as wonderful as I had remembered⦠yet again 5 stars ARE NOT ENOUGHâ¦I say again âGo there... you will not regret it !!!!!!â

Had an Octopus, House Salad and a steak. The food was really good, fresh and quality ingredients. The service was super polite and knowledgeable - the kitchen cranked out dishes faster than other places We have visited here in BCN... the place is clean, the seating is also OK - there is about 40 seats plus 15 at the patio... anyhow, if you are in the hood this place should be on your list...
