I can't ever recall such good service. The entire team seemed to understand that this was to be an "experience" for their guests and they did all they could to make it feel special. So I almost feel bad to say the food just did not measure up to other high end gourmet restaurants we've had the good fortune to visit. When you are ordering, my suggestion is to mix in things off of the vegetarian menu if you see things you don't love on the normal tasting menu. At other places like this, I found even a dish I didn't normally like would be good due to the superior preparation. My wife and I did not find that the case here. She didn't even want to finish my portion of the dishes I didn't like. So if you see something you don't like (like the multiple seafood pate's) take advantage of their great garden and order a substitute from the vegetarian side. We didn't get much veggies in the normal menu anyway, so you'll probably be glad.

The food was great. But the outdoor patio is so drab that it makes for a poor setting for great food. Their famous tomato soup was outstanding as advertised. And the sole was simply delicious on a bed of mashed potatoes. But the service was ridiculous. My wife ordered a vodka tonic and it came to the table wrong THREE times - ones without a lemon (ok not big deal), so it came back with soda instead of tonic, then it came back just tonic with no vodka. The server, who seemed uninterested and rather aloof the whole night, never apologized or comped the drink, he just shrugged. So the kitchen was not supported here in terms of service or the atmosphere.

As you enter you feel as if you are in Paris. It beautiful. The food is excellent. We had oysters from 3 different regions, excellent, the faux gras, which is chicken liver and was delicious, the pate de champagne , was great, tartare de boeuf, simply delicious, the escargot a la bourguignon, was superb, the ris de beau, crispy veal sweetbreads, really great , pommels frites , delicious and the gigot dâagneau, roasted leg of lamb, delicious. Everything cooked to perfection and the service excellent. All their vegetables are grown by them. I forgot to mention the bread is wonderful.A delightful experience. Loved it.

What a magnificent restaurant located in the Bardessono Resort and Spa.My wife ordered the Mary's Chicken Sandwich,guajillo pepper aioli, avocado, Hobbsâ bacon, roasted tomato,and house made potato chips, very good.I ordered the burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and great home made fries with the skins on. Came with a side of super assorted pickles.
