While out for a nice but chilly motorcycle ride, we were cold and hungry and stopped at the Moulin de la Sambuc. It was 2:15pm, a time when most French restaurants will turn you away, but they smiled and set a table for us. The food is good and reasonably priced. The cheese selection is good. The wine list is amazing and worth is for wine-lovers.

We turned up for an impromptu lunch, two adults and two kids. It took forever to get an order taken, all four meals were served separately with no apparent synchronisation, and the food was poor with the exception of the goats cheese salad and the sauce with the lamb.It looked like my haricots had come out of a can (they were grey and soft) and the chips and pesto sauce had a bought feel too.To add to our misery the meal was eaten to a near constant backdrop of someone drilling above our heads! Given the other review, maybe we were just unlucky.

We went here for dinner as most other places in the neighbourhood were Italian style. Restaurant offers only dinner menus for 23â¬. It is a weekly menu with choice between 4 starters, 4 mains and desserts. We took 'tarte provencale' and a 'salad de saison' as a starter, 'Filet de maquereaux aux fines herbes' and dish of 'aigneau'. The starters were delicious and nicely presented. The fish and sheep meat were good portions of nicely cooked and presented dishes accompanied with different small portions of prepared vegetables. To finalise this delicious meal we got tiramiso (njam) and nougat-glacé (njam njam)...Dishes are accompanied with cool water, and we ordered a half liter of local wine, which was OK and very economic (5,5â¬).So where do you think we went to eat later that weak... and this time we orderd some other dishes (apart from the starters) and enjoyed again the gamba)dish and the steak... of course the deserts finished again a nice dinner, this time accompanied with a good beer (St Thomas)...

Competent, slightly under-seasoned food, attentive service, first-class sommelier. He proposed a red Larzac (La Traversée; not on the restaurant's list) in place of the Blagny I was considering. I love Thierry Matrot's wine, but am always up for a new experience, and this Languedoc from a Northern Irish expat winemaker was wonderful.The restaurant offers its own (delicious) in-house bread, and chilled bottles of water from the Sainte-Baume. Our teenaged children wolfed their steaks and their puddings (one lemon tarte sablée, one sort of death-by-chocolate). There are various menus; I'd guess the cheaper lunchtime one is a very good deal.

Unfortunately, it has been some time since I last visited this magnificent Domaine. The location is just great - quiet, perfect view to the Sainte Baume massive, beautiful garden and a great golf-course. This is just a few of the benefits of staying at the Domaine. Building is beautiful. Rooms comfortable and offers different sizes â all very comfortable and with respect of the overall standards and decoration of the Domaine.Service is second to nothing. Friendly and professional. The restaurant offers fine dining with local food and vines. All presented beautifully in a very pleasant dining room if you not choose to dine outside under the big trees in front of the main building. A large swimming pool is available for the guests.

A golf club restaurant is not normally an obvious choice for lunch other than as the 19th hole. This may not be the cheapest restaurant in the area but it does offer good value for the quality of the food and the service.The fixed price menu is available at 17⬠for 2 courses or 20⬠for 3. On this occasion the starter was a delicious red pepper horn stuffed with a mixture of goats cheese and basil and the main course a tasty wok stir fried beef with vegetables. The portions are on the small size and you may find that it is necessary to go for the 3 course menu.

Excellent food! The outside seating with artificial grass and too bright light was less nice, but the food was really tasty. We took the three-course-menu and especially the beef which was served as main course was excellent! Worth a visit!

With my friend, we had been looking for a place to have lunch when we stumbled upon this place. The host was extremely kind, helpful and his homemade 'Tarte aux Poirs' was absolutely delicious. It is a new place nicely decorated with a homely atmosphere. Whenever you are in the area of Nans-Les-Pins do make a stop here and enjoy the hospitality. Parking in the area is easy.

Nous étions un peu plus de 40 personnes pour mon anniversaire surprise organisé par mon fils. Je suis ravie . L'accueil , l'apéritif, le repas, l'ambiance SUPER ! Une équipe très attentionnée et à l'écoute, un timing excellent pour le service, l'animation super !! Nous avons passé une excellente soirée. A recommander !
