Simple and small restaurant out of the road to Cabasse. THere were ver friendly and gentles people. Good food and very quick services. Home made food not very expensive.

Visiting with japanese business partners.The restaurant face the wineyards and is situated a little outside Lorgues.Fairly simple restaurant room and this evening totally full, so extremely noisy. Some evening it is possible to sit on the small terrasse just next to the Wine plants,and that I prefer.But the food is good and that is the most important. We were 4 and made different choices. Everyone was happy with their meal.Local White and Red Wine to join our food.Nice evening.

We had an enjoyable dinner in this restaurant located near the main square in Lorgues. The terrace is pretty under a big tree. The food we had was tasty (the omelette with white truffles was great). Service was friendly. Price-wise we spent about 90⬠for the menu for two and a bottle of rosé wine.

J'y suis allé avec une amie avant d'aller à l'Abbaye du Thoronet.Nous n'avions pas réservé car nous avions de projet de découvrir un autre restaurant qui s'est révélé fermé !J'ai pris le menu (entrée, plat, dessert) à 24,50⬠et mon amie a pris un plat et dessert. Comme entrée j'ai pris un tartare de saumon et comme plat un risotto aux fruits de mer et mon amie une assiette de tomates mozzarella. Comme dessert j'ai pris une panna cotta au chocolat blanc et son coulis de fruits rouges et mon amie un ananas frais avec une boule de glace.Comme il faisait très chaud et que nous allions visiter l'Abbaye après, nous avons bu que de l'eau minérale.Tout les plats étaient visiblement fait maison et préparé à l'instant. Le service rapide et efficace, malgré la terrasse et la salle pleines.

You are greeted by Pilar, the owner and cook - she is a lovely lady who puts her heart in everything. With a smile, she prepares everything freshly. The food is basic but delicious, and so are the prices. She has a buffet or "plat du jour" under 15⬠! When the sun is out, the terrace is superbly located off the main road (no traffic to disturb you) and you can enjoy either lunch or dinner with family or friends. It's definitely a restaurant that took a place in our hearts and when in the area we will definitely go back. To recommend !

Wonderful lunch on the terrace under the canopy of the trees next to the water fountain on a clear sunny day. The food was terrific and not just for the truffles, as each dish was beautifully prepared with superb sauces.There were four menus to choose from and the difference essentially is the type of truffle. The black truffles are more expensive by about 45 euro per course, but they are just delicious. It would be an error of judgement to just go for the cheapest 78 euro menu. We opted to have one course with the black truffles and this overall menu was 125 euro each. There was also an option to switch some of the menu items with the ultimate extravanganza menu at 195 euro. We did this and it was a great idea. I changed the caviar belini for the foie gras in pastry.The foie gras with the truffles in pastry was simply delicious. Fortunately it wasn't a big serving but is was fantastic and the sauce was full of flavour.The highlight of the house is the truffle on a slice of potato. We opted for the more expensive black truffles for this dish and we were so pleased with the outcome. There was also a delicious creamy sauce. Doesn't sound exciting and words cannot describe how good it was. Everything was cooked to perfection and it was delicious.Next came the lobster. Again a terrific tasty sauce.The desserts were also very enjoyable, and the pre-dessert of a creme caramel with truffles I really enjoyed.We also noted other diners adding a pinch of salt to their dishes and we followed suit. Really brings out the flavour but go easy. I would ceretainly recommend going for the expensive black truffle option for the potato dish. Don't plan on doing anything for the rest of the day and maybe even the next day. We couldn't finish the caviar dish and the staff packed it up for us to take home. Same with the little dessert cakes. 330 euro for two with an inexpensive 80 euro chablis.Great experience.

While we told there would be a limited selection on arrival the selection we had was excellent. On night one we enjoyed mi cuit foie gras, then house smoked fish parllida, Salad du Moment, Duck breast end croute with fruits and fresh mint pastilla, Mini beef filet, mushrooms and roast spuds, warm chocolate fondant and white choc ice cream, fruits compote summer pudding. All were beautifully cooked, presented and eaten with relish. On night two we had gaspattio of melon, vegetable risotto with truffle oil, carpaccio of beef, Shad with rice and mushrooms and mini vegetables, Salmon covered in sesame seeds, Chevre, Cornet of coffee moose, Assiette des Iles These were also good though the sesame seeds rather overwhelmed the salmon.The service was efficient and done with good humour. I can commend the local rose wine.

After visiting this Cistercian abbey we stopped at the little town, Le Thoronet for lunch. Just off the town square was this charming restaurant. The owner was English speaking, had spent time in Denmark, just so welcoming, food was very good with shared desserts as well. A peaceful surprise in a beautiful placemerci pour votre passage,on vous a fait passer un bon moment,tout est la,encore merci,a bientôt!!

A place that takes you out of the ordinary world. For people who love the true Provence, long away from the seaside commercials, a place to eat under the trees, cooled down by the mistral and not the air conditioning, surrounded by the vineyards. A day dream, flooded by the gentle light.Be aware that the internet works at its own (Provence styled) pace and therefore advisable to bring cash. Certainly worth it!Thank you very much and we are delighted to have had a good time on our winery

The Vallon is down a small side road as you head out of Le Thoronet on the road to Carces (or towards the Abbeye de Thoronet). As such, it's easy to miss, but if you are looking for a nice thin-crust pizza you should really stop here as they serve some nice meals. Pizza isn't the only thing on the menu and everything we ate was good, including some salads. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly.
