Restaurant dans des camaïeux de gris et beige, décoration sobre, même les toilettes sont charmantes. Accueil simple et efficace. Menus variés, l'intitulé des plats , sans fioritures , a réservé de bonnes surprises dans l'assiette. Portions généreuses mais sans gâchis. C'est goûteux et c'est frais.

Ãa fait des années que ce snack sert ses clients , vous pourrez vous restaurer sur place ou à emporter , commander , Américain , hamburger , curry , demi poulet etc... Le tout servi sympathiquement par les propriétaires .Endroit connu dans la région ou l'on y mange bien.

Petit repas à 2 le midi, vu la fréquentation lâendroit est une valeur sûre et le service a réussi à suivre . Bon rapport qualité prix. La salle nous replonge quelques années en arrière, mais câest peut être leà son charme.

We arrived without a reservation just after the restaurant opened at 19.00 and were offered a choice of tables. By 20.00 it was full. We both had foie gras followed by rognons de veau both of which were excellent. Our waitress was really good, very efficient with a nice sense of humour. Our meal was washed down with a bottle of local wine, Pinot Gris. At a total cost of â¬99 we thought it was good value for the standard of food provided.

si la viande est excellente l'attente est démesurée. Nous sommes arrivés à 20h et à 22h toujours pas de plats. Du monde, certes, mais tout de même! C'est dommage car la viande est très bonne. J'y retournerais mais si je vois qu'il y a trop de monde je ferai demi tour.

I was two Times on That place and the quality became poor. The food is very Average and much too greacy, too fat! I would recommend To stay With the menu of the day and do not try another dish!

We stopped here because of all the other reviews and are happy we did so! The crepes are tasty, the filling is also tasty and you will certainly not feel hungry afterwards!Dogs are also welcome in the creperie.It is also not too far from the highway and we could park in the street, almost opposite the creperie (handy if you're on holiday and don't want to park your car somewhere in a dark street).

This is a lovely local restaurant owned and operated by a husband and wife team. We enjoyed the food so much and coupled with being made very welcome on our first visit, we actually ended up eating at La Riviera three nights in a row. It also appeared to be well frequented by the French locals which is always a good sign!

I don't want to get off to a bad start by putting Freyming-Merlebach down but initial impressions weren't great. For us it was just an overnight stop and a desperate search for somewhere decent to eat after a 10 hr drive.Well, we chose right when we decided to visit La Scala. The approach is a little difficult especially if you try and follow your sat-nav; it's not quite on the roundabout but just off a road that's right on the roundabout so you might end up doing a "turn left, turn left, turn left" to get there but when you do finally arrive you won't regret it.The food is reasonably standard Italian fair but the quality is unquestionable. Nice little touch with the fresh olives and savoury doughnut style nibbles to start before the main course. The main dishes were incredibly tasty and very filling; portion size is not an issue. But for us the best part was the staff. We had a wonderful waiter who after a brief discussion agreed that his English was as good as my French but didn't stop us having a great, fun, enjoyable evening. Some places rely on their food, some rely on their service; we found that La Scala had a good mix of both and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. If you find yourself in Freyming-Merlebach looking for somewhere to eat and enjoy a lovely wine then I do recommend La Scala for their lovely food and wonderful staff.Merci tout le mond.
