When friends found out I was going to be in Detroit, one place was highly recommended. I had some time to kill one afternoon and noticed the Steak 'n Shake location near the Macy's where my wife was shopping. The original double with cheese and fries was unbelievably inexpensive and I had to try it. Well, you get what you pay for...a tiny tasteless patty and dry fries. I only finished it because I hadn't eaten in hours. Okay...been there, don't need to go back

They aren't kidding when they say Hot & Ready. I have two teens & the fact that we can pull a few pizzas from this location that ARE hot & tasty (that's what they should call it!) and they like it AND it's not expensive because they eat a LOT is perfect for our family. And I don't have to cook. Win win all around!
