Huber Heights' motto is "America's largest community of brick homes." The city is named for Charles Huber, the developer who constructed a number of the houses that would later constitute the city. Suburban development began in the area in 1956. The former Wayne Township, now defunct, incorporated as the City of Huber Heights on January 23, 1981. Huber Heights continued to grow by annexing parcels in Miami and Greene counties. Huber Heights is the third largest suburb in the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area by population, behind Kettering with 56,163, and Beavercreek with 45,193. Huber Heights' current mayor is Jeff Gore. The population of Huber Heights was 38,101 at the 2010 census.

The Chipotle Mexican Grill on Miller Lane makes it right. I ordered a Chicken Burrito with all of the extras, and it was very tasty! The cooks packed it with meat, rice, tomatoes, and cheese so the burrito was bursting at the seams! And add a side of chips and salsa...very nice!A high School group was holding a fund-raiser, and Chipotle was donating 50% of the profits that evening to that school. I was very impressed! We need more community involvement from our local establishments. I support Chipotle!You will not be disappointed in the fast, friendly, accurate service as you bite into a scrumptious chicken burrito.

We stopped here to take advantage of their "Happier Hour" where milkshakes are half-price as well as to use the bathroom while traveling on I-70 westbound. The shakes were fine, but the bathroom smelled so bad, I almost threw up--and I have a pretty strong stomach. I was glad we got the order "to go" as I'm not sure I could have eaten there. I will note that there was a staffer getting ready to clean the bathroom with a mop--but I am not sure that would have helped without a whole bottle of disinfectant.

I come in and all the workers are in the back talking. I waited 10 minutes for an overweight woman to finally help me. After taking her sweet time to get my sub ready a kid and his mom come in. My sub was completely finished literally waiting to pay and she starts to make their subs and proceeds to make small talk. I had to wait till she finished their subs as well to finally get mine. Meanwhile there's 2 other people that were currently working and she has to go back to ask them a question about the register. I walked out in frustration.

What can I say about Pizza? Pizza is pizza. It's what you'd expect from a Pizza chain. But the Staff is very friendly and that goes a long way with me. When I'm home I'll drive out of my way to go there when we're in the mood for something not very good for us. They will deliver too of course, and their delivery-range seems pretty far, as we're not very close to them.

I give this Subway the best rating I have ever given any shop in this franchise because someone is really on the ball. One of the greatest irritants of chain places is the propensity to put an item on the menu, create popularity and then take it off for some Marketing wonk to study the data to determine whether it really was popular. At various times, it happened to the Popcorn Chicken at KFC, the McRib at McDonalds and Poppers at Arby's. These are just three irritating examples in the past where aloof people in ivory towers removed from customer contact were seemingly oblivious to clear trends in preferences as they were occurring. Apparently, booking conference rooms over several months to talk about the obvious is required before it can be decided that popular items need to remain on the menu.At Subway, it was the Creamy Sriracha sauce that apparently suffered this fate. They took it off the menu much to my dismay a couple of months ago. However, the prescient management at this Subway store made the brilliant move of stocking up so its availability has continued long past the poor corporate decision to discontinue it. It is the only Subway shop which I have visited in the past several weeks to have this wonderful option that adds so much to the quality of many of the sandwiches I get at this chain. While I was thrilled to find this, it was not the only reason to rate this Subway highly, however.The shop was not that obvious when looking for it from Troy Pike, the nearby main drag. I had never noticed it in the past having driven by there several times. We had to find its existence and location by GPS. It was located in what appeared to be a marginally viable strip plaza across Wayne Town Rd. from a Kroger's store. However, the storefront was nice in appearance and the interior was neat, crisp and clean. The person working when we went in for breakfast was very polite, efficient and helpful. We had our usual breakfast sandwiches (made with egg whites!!) and they were, of course, made even tastier with the sriracha.Subway in general gets kudos from me on the value thy offer. All of their menu items are attractively priced but the breakfast specials are a particularly good deal. A six-inch breakfast sandwich and drink (coffee or soda) is $3.50.Overall, I give the management at this shop a lot of credit for a particularly well-run Subway store. They had enough sense to keep a popular item around so it would remain available, the service is very good and it is a clean, pleasant facility in which to enjoy a meal.

stopped at firehouse for a quick lunch. previously never heard of the chain. I have had subs all over the the U.S including the east coast. firehouse has a great selection of subs and the food is FANTASTIC. highly recommended and a great addition to the brown street market.service was impeccable. d m, Thanks for the review!
