This is a seriously good ice cream place. Plus they bake the cones right there, even make a little show of it. At least half of the offerings really can't be found anywhere else but they also have some out of this world tradional flavors like chocolate ( gunpowder I think that is intensely chocolate). VRious fruit flavors with lots of fruit chunks. Try the raspberry. The place is owned by the same people as the gourmet donut place a mile away Odoodle Doo.

I recently went to this Subway for a quick bite. This was not my first visit but I thought it was time to review. As usual with the Subways when you enter they said "Welcome to Subway" but this time I got a smile and someone looking at me in the eyes. The service was quick and when someone was ahead of me they were attentive to the fact that I was next. The server was friendly and professional. The lady in front of me left her change and when I came back from taking it to her the employee gave me a 10% discount. He didn't have to do that but it was nice. I always like going to this subway as they seem to be more aware of good service than others I have been. The food is fresh and good. It is located in the Eagle Harbour Shopping Center near the James River Bridge on the Isle of Wight side of the bridge.

While out shopping stopped at the local Subway at 1205 Benns Church Blvd. Lots of variety in the type of sub you can get. I decided on the six inch Turkey on wheat toasted. I added lettuce, tomato and onion with mustard. Quick service and friendly. I had a diet coke also. Total $6.77. I have gotten their salad that is good also. And my husband likes the Italian with meatballs. I like the fact they post the calories and the best for you. They also have trays of subs for takeout. They had just a few tables busy but lots of tables. They would have gotten a five but several tables needed cleaning. Otherwise a good stop for a fresh sub. They are located in a strip shopping center across from the shopping center where Farm Fresh is located.

We decided to go to our local taco bell for dinner. Service was good. I got the beef taco salad with no beans while my husband got the beefy Fritos bburrito and hot DLT we shared a senior drink and got a senior discount on the meal. Total $9.02.

We ordered pizzas on the computer and went to this location near McDonald's. We ordered three pizzas but they only picked up two on the computer. When you arrive you give them your phone number and they match it to your name. We decided to just take the two pizzas and not wait for the third. The pizza was good but not outstanding. The staff had a problem with pronouncing our name that is very very simple and could not find the order at first. Staff worked fast. Would consider going again but may try the other two pizza locations in Smithfield first.
