Have you ever had Arabic booza ice cream? Yeah, me neither until my tour guide Aziz took me here soon after I arrived in Aqaba. He knew the proprietor who showed us how itâs made with an orchid-based flour called salep. It sits in an elastic form at the bottom of a deep metal well and doesnât melt since itâs not in a frozen state. He scooped the pistachio-laden vanilla mixture into a cup, and it was delicious without being cloyingly sweet. What a nice dessert discovery for me and quite unique to the area.

I always have trouble finding gluten free food in Jordan, especially in Aqaba. Most people don't even know what gluten is, but at Volga the chef knew what it was and accommodated me perfectly. My burger was prepared on a clean surface and even the sauce was served in separate containers. Bread was substituted with celery/rocket leaves. To top things off the burger tasted amazing and the staff was suuuper friendly. If you are a tourist and miss a bit of home food, this is surely the place to visit. There are nice areas to sit inside and out.

Azad is a great place for a snack or lunch. The location is central and the restaurant is clean, modern and comfortable. The personnel were really friendly and nice. We had lamb kebab and it was tasty and fresh. The sauces were really good! However, I have to mention that we had to wait for our food for almost 30 minutes, which is quite a long time if you just want to grab a quick lunch. I recommend cheese fita dip, cream chicken baked pot very delicious.The price is very reasonable.Tables are only outdoor, so I hope you don't mind the hot weather, because the food is worth it.This restaurant is run with owner hands on. Very friendly staff.

Went to this restaurant after looking at the TripAdvisor reviews. They were accurate. Seating is outside. There is a wide selection of food and very reasonably priced. Food was cooked well and the portions were a good size. Staff were friendly and gave us complimentary mint tea which was a nice gesture. Make sure you check this place out if in Aqaba.
