First off, this is not what I was expecting. It's about the size of a postage stamp with seating, maybe for about 20 people. I went at "prime" time and there was only 1 other small group in there.I was greeted immediately and allowed to choose my seat. Menu is good. I sat next to a front window that looked out onto the sidewalk and street. I chose a turkey burger with 2 eggs (separate menu items). The burger was ok, not great. The fries (to me) were a little under cooked. Eggs are eggs. The thing is, this is just a solid and quiet place with good service and extremely reasonable prices. It was a good experience, even though I didn't love what I had, and I'd go back.Park in the back.

The first of three times that I went to Henry's Diner for breakfast I had no idea that it was run by the university's food service. I just thought it was cool that there was this newer looking place with a definite diner-like feel and atmosphere and it was on the Livingston Campus at RU. Once I asked questions and learned a lot more I was even more impressed with their menu choices, the service, quality of food and last but not least--their coffee!You can't have a good diner without good coffee and Henry's has a regional roaster who hand selects then roasts the beans for their coffee...it's great, and for just $1.50 it has to rival the best cup in town.The gentleman who manages the place, Sebastian, is a very knowledgeable, seasoned veteran of the restaurant and food service business as an executive chef. He runs a great kitchen and his staff is held to the high standard that he sets. This place has terrific omelettes, loaded with fresh ingredients, a great selection of breads for the breakfast toast choice and the portions are plentiful...no going away hungry from their breakfasts. They also have a diverse diner-type menu for lunch and dinner and it attracts RU students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus.Henry's also has outstanding, freshly baked goodies for dessert coming out of the ovens of their own pastry chef. Just check out their appeal when you look in the glass case right at the entry to the diner.Whether this was located somewhere else in the Piscataway/New Brunswick area or right there on the same campus as the RAC, I'd find my way to Henry's on a regular basis. My guests and I are 3 for 3 on breakfast at Henry's. Next time we have to catch their lunch.

The food is well prepared and tasty. The corned beef hash is freshly made and not greasy. Try the âa little bit of everything â eggs sausage bacon and pancakes. Coffee is included with the specials. Staff is friendly and service fast. The place is huge and has a bar. The decor is geared towards aviation thus Skylark. One of the better diners in NJ.

Had breakfast here. This diner is dedicated to NJâs famous inventor - Thomas Alva Edison. The decor reflected this - there were gramophones on display!Service was prompt and efficient - they showed me to a nice booth. The breakfast was what I was looking for - comfort food. Lots of parking. Will return!

One of the better diners in the area, that has NOT turned itself into some semblance of a 'night club' (ie - Skylark in Edison, Americana in E Windsor).As long as you're not going after church, you typically do not have to wait to be seated. EVERYONE, no matter what their role is, is always very friendly - the servers, the runners, the wait staff...etc. And the customer service is amazing - I once ordered a burger on an English muffin, medium rare. I was clearly RAW - not even rare. Initially I only wanted to bring it to the attention of the waitress and cancel the order. Next thing I knew, the manager was bringing the correctly cooked burger to the table and let me know she comped the ENTIRE meal we had ordered and implied the cook was chewed out a little. I asked for the burger to go at this point and greatly thanked them for going above and beyond what I imagined let alone, expected. Some diners would boycott the business after that - we were back the following weekend and have been every weekend (practically) since.

Our favorite diner. Breakfast is best - they have all day breakfast and specials. The corned beef hash is a favorite side. Dinner is also very good - soup, salad, entree and dessert. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will keep on returning.
