Very inconsistent from one visit to the next. Their prices are right up there but when you get a decent amount of meat, worth it. Unfortunately, different servers make sandwiches quite differently. I've had a "Cornucopia" that was so full of meat you couldn't get your mouth around it. On the next visit it seemed to be all bread and lettuce.I made a mistake and ordered the "Beefeater" for the first time the other day. Microwave hot, tough, thickly sliced roast beef does not make a good sandwich. The less than fresh bread needed toasting at home to make it half way palatable. Lastly, the cashiers seemed to have been told to take the wine customers before the sandwich customers. It's happened three times recently that a wine customer has walked around the people waiting to pay for food and right up to the register. One cashier in particular seemed to be encouraging this. And he used to make sandwiches ....Used to be a pretty good sandwich shop rivaling those liquor stores along Pennsylvania Ave in DC.

This place is about 45 minutes from home. I try to stop in whenever I am in the area. The staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and they bring the food to you. They are always really on top of it and are always quick to get you served. Their sandwiches are all overstuffed, you can not complain about serving sizes in this place. The prices are a terrific value. Penny for penny, you're not going to find portions like they serve anywhere else. Not sure how they do it but their "stuffed potatoes" are bigger than your head! I highly recommend the Texas Style Spud -Baked potato, butter, chopped pit-smoked beef brisket, cheddar. OR the Lean Green Sweet Potato - Baked sweet potato stuffed with organic spinach, fresh-cracked black pepper, Asiago they are my absolute favorites here. We've had several of their soups which have all been fantastic. The place has always been clean, I've never had bad service or meal... I really have nothing at all negative to say about the place. Can't wait to go back, currently craving the Lean Green Sweet Potato!!

This is a local, hidden gem. The owners are friendly and personable. This is the kind of place where the staff get to know your name and order. Although not advertised, food is made with whole fresh and sometimes organic ingredients and premium spices. This is evident in the taste! Freshly made to order espresso drinks rival the taste of national coffee chain, at a much cheaper cost. Great for catering too! If you need something healthy and fast, this is a great place to stop. Food is made to order, and the owner supports those who are making healthy choices. Also a favorite spot for local body builders! I used to work near here, and miss my regular stops in the Galleria Deli.
