My wife and I enjoy an occasional German/Bavarian style meal and we were not disappointed with the excellent (ausgezeichnet) lunch we enjoyed at Haus Heidelberg. A little south of Hendersonvilleâs main tourist district, itâs well worth a visit. The cozy, wood paneled dining room is amply decorated with Bavarian mugs, clocks, and wall art. Two TVâs that show aerial scenes of the pristine German countryside, cities, castles, and rivers so thereâs plenty to occupy your time as you wait for the meal. The âborn and raisedâ German chef lends his talents to a plentiful menu with traditional dishes like sauerbraten, jaegerschnitzel, and of course all kinds of brats! I enjoyed a mug of Spaten Oktoberfest bier while I waited for a bowl of tasty Lentil soup, complete with a âfrankâ. We enjoyed everything from the soup to dessert - even the house salad (good dressing!). For our entrée, we shared a Schnitzel Royale, which was plenty for the two of us. We also ordered a slice of Black forest cherry cake to take along. Thereâs a butcher shop for âGerman meatsâ adjoining the dinning room. On our first visit, this place hit a home run! Canât wait to try something different next time.

Looking to try something we hadn't tried before in Hendersonville NC. Heard this was a good place and it was really good. First of all, when you sit down, they bring you menu and ask if you would like a bowl of popcorn as they take your drink order. Nice, something different. They have a daily special, or you can just pick from the menu. We shared a French dip sandwich with a bag of chips. Really good. Nice atmosphere, good service, good food. I watched other folks get there food delivered and was amazed at the types of sandwiches they were making. A win all the way around.

We like subway because everyone can chose what they want (bread, toppings, etc). Too much to chose from. I usually go with the turkey on wholewheat, toasted. My husbands likes the pizza. Salad is also a great choice.

Food is fresh and staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is always clean. It's a chain however, always great sandwiches.

We've ordered take out for our family a couple of times before. Both times, the person who took the orders, screwed it up. We thought we would give them another chance. They screwed it up again when we went to pick it up.We have learned our lesson.Steer clear!!!Go to Firehouse and download their app. They don't mess up 3 times in a row.
