Taunggyi is the fifth largest city of Myanmar, and has an estimated population of 380,665 as of 2014.The city is famous for its hot air balloon festival held annually on the full moon day of Tazaungmon.

Wide ranging menu with both Myanmar and Thai based dishes available. Dietary issues were address by very friendly and helpful manager. Best Shan noodles by far compared to all other venues tried in the country. BYO wine was fine with them. Even provided a ride back to hotel in their own vehicle for a patron with a leg issue. Absolutely would go back (we did the second time we were in Taunggyi). Don't expect plush surroundings but do expect really delicious food.

We usually go this restaurant without fail during every trips up to Taunggyi since been witched by taste of fresh foods and terrific service of this place. Chilled beer which serve here also a tip top in the city.Location is good, make sure to get the good place to eat if you're in group, price is reasonable, parking lot bit difficult during dinner time, we prefer to take a table at balcony to get the fresh air from outside.

Nice restaurant with outside shaded and inside seating with good decor. A la carte and buffet option (express). Range of veggie stir fries (check for oyster sauce) as well as snacks like french fries, cashew nuts. Fresh juice and alcohol options. Next to UCT hotel

Friendly service, amazing food and great location. I come here several times a week and it really is one of the best options in Taunggyi. Have ordered pretty much everything in their menu and liked every single one of them. The bibimbap (off the menu) is awesome. Highly recommended.

After a long road journey and visit to the pagodas just across, to sit and have a fantastic meal is a great culmination to a wonderful trip to Kakku.The restaurant is airy and spacious and one is served by traditionally attired staff, gracious and smiling.The food one gets is great. It's fresh, diverse and tasty, Avocado mash, tofu, Shan noodles, soup....everything is just so mouthwatering.You can also pick up some interesting handicrafts from a stall in the restaurant.Dear Pahari,Mingalabar!Thank you so much for your lovely words.
