We love going home as service is fast, food is often tasty and prices are reasonable. I like their noodle dishes and also their halo halo. The steam buns are also good, so authentic Chinese dishes here. My only negative comment is their egg noodles soup- lomi which is my fave is not as tasty. But the other foods- dim sims especially are great! Been to this place a few times with relatives and always a good experience. Also, please make sure you repeat your order, I did sy petite halo halo but they still gave me a regular sized one, though good thing, it was really great, I love it!

Just because they serve noodles doesn't make Chowking a Chinese Fast Food, it is really far from being a Chinese Food house, maybe it is better to say that Chowking is a Filipinese Food House. Yes, the combination of Chinese Filipino taste. The kind of Chinese Taste that appeals to the majority of Filipino people. But in fairness to Chowking, I go there too often, not for noodle dishes or dimsums but for their good HALO HALO, yes, I highly recommend their HALO HALO and their kangkong with bagoong.

Chicken is probably one that I don't frequently order when dining out, especially the white meat as it is usually dry, until my husband recommended we eat here. I normally would request to dine somewhere else but we had our fur babies with us and they had outside seating. I actually was skeptical about it that I ordered Pasta Tartufo, which I actually loved. The pasta was cooked al dente. I don't know what goes in it but it has a garlicky taste with a hint of truffle, that it became an instant favorite for me. I did try the chicken, with the prodding of the husband, and I was actually surprised. It was moist, tender and was adequately seasoned. They offer 3 sauces with it. But even without the sauces it was already good. Couple it with Java rice and it was perfect! We came here for a second time and opted for their Chicken and Ribs meal that is good for 6 people, which included a whole chicken, a slab of ribs, 6 bowls of Java rice and 6 sides. Of course with an order of Pasta Tartufo for sharing, and a carafe of iced tea. Our total came to almost P3,000. It's probably a bit pricey for a regular day for some. But maybe for weekend and special occasions, I think it is worth it. *Oh, and they were cool when there were fragments of bone in our area as we were handing some rib bones to our fur babies. We tried to clear some but they offered to take care of it.

Yesterday, we've decided to celebrate our sister's bday here. No idea about the place or the food but surprisingly, our instinct has brought us to something better than we've expected. Food was great, the food may seem a bit pricey but their servings were generous. I love the ambiance of the place, the light colored interior emphasized the cleanliness of the place, the background sound was moderate, giving way for people to interact and the staffs were accommodating. Will recommend this to our relatives and friends. I have one suggestion that could help, maybe they can come up with group meals for families and big groups to enjoy.

Tried Legend Seafood and King Bee several times but abandoned them all for Sam's HK! Best Xiao Long Bao and the only chinese restaurant that includes Shrimp Toast in their dimsum menu. Food is delicious and not too salty. Favorite dishes:Shrimp toast, Steamed Spare Ribs with Taosi, Siomai, Hainan Chicken, noodles, Har Gao, Sesame Seed Balls. I am sure all their dishes are delicious and will try them when I get tired of my usual orders heh heh...I still crave for them! Their fragrant Jasmine tea is soothing and their staff - courteous and professional. Kudos to Janes, Sharmaine, Chef Arnel, Hower, Jovi, Gilbert. Yes we are there all the time and know all of the staff by now!Sam's HK is a wonderful establishment with good décor, lighting and color scheme. Casual, comfortable and trendy. Met the owner, Dion Kahn, so sweet, pretty and accommodating. Learned that Sam's is named after her daughter. Cool!

Food is great, service is fast. Portions is okay, it would be great if they got a bigger serving. The restaurant is spacious and adequate parking.
