I have always come past the Olinda tea house but on the occasions we tried it was closed. Today was our lucky day. We stopped off for lunch and the food, service and style was perfect. Attentive, fast service. Delicious food. Gorgeous surroundings despite the freezing cold weather. A definite go to and will 100% come back - especially when warmer.

First of all this restaurant is now in Monbullk it hasn't been in Olinda for about 12 months, same owners Silvia and Albert and the food is the same very good with good service and a very busy take away which is now separate from the dinning area which is lot better. I would recommend booking as its normally full on the weekend.

Visited this place for 1st time without reading any review hence this review has no influence from others. Location: A bit out of town but not too far of travelling. Is nearby Mt Dandenong actually. Good thing is not much trafficService & Environment :Went in for dinner and not much of crowd. We almost have the whole place by ourselves. The service is fast & good and you can stay for as long as you wish. No one will give you pressure to leave.Food :Food portion is good size and is value of money. Best of all the quality and taste is much better than any big restaurant around. Will return? For sure! This will be our next dinning place with friends.

Worst Chinese food we ever had, even the noodles were burnt. Overpriced terrible food, in a setting from the 1970's. Keep on driving, give thus place a miss.

Am not a great fan of Chinese food however that is changing after a night out at the Fairy Mountain Chinese Restaurant. Very clean premises with appropriate ambient music in the background. Good service and more importantly quality meals where you just want to have more.Highly recommend this restaurant. I've not had a better Chinese meal anywhere and I've had quite a few over the years and generally been disappointed or not in a hurry to return. Can't say that about this restaurant.
