We had not been here for awhile. We use to think it was good for the price. No so anymore.The choices at first glance seem the same, but the quality is definitely lacking. There seems to be a definite downgrade in the ingredients used. Even the sushi is less varied and certainly not as tastey.The ice cream machine was not working. The other dessert choices are average to poor. The entree choices just did not measure up for any positive comments.The restaurant itself is also beginning to look a bit run down, and not as clean. Not sure we will be returning.

Chung Wah is my favorite local Chinese takeout restaurant. Purely takeout, not restaurant although ther are a few tables, these are more for patrons waiting for their order to be ready. The owner is very nice, he makes the best food. If a busy Friday or Saturday evening he doesn't really cook though, they have a lot more help than say a Tuesday, etc. I considered giving them a "good" rating because the food is not gourmet or even void of the oily Chinese takeout taste. However, unless you're talking about a restaurant or even Asian fusion at that, this falls squarely in with all othe takeout places, except that overall the food taste, quality of fresh ingredients, and how they are still good after being cooked (vegetables mainly), and the service is better than most. The owner's wife works there too and even there young son is there after school. The previous restaurant burned down from a fire at the laundromat that was next store. For the 18 months they were closed, I went to other restaurants, but eventually just stopped eating Chinese take out until Chung Wah reopened. When they dd, it was like a party every day, people came from everywhere to welcome them back. With no advertising that they were even repenting, there was a waiting line every time I went. Luckily this went away as things got back to normal. The new restaurant is clean and new also.

Great Tasting Chinese food, especially the Boneless Spare Ribs, Roast Pork Lo Mein, Chicken w. Broccoli, and Sesame Chicken.If your calling in an order for dinner, just add 5 or 10 minutes when they tell you how long before pickup, because they are always busy and the food is worth the wait !

Every time I visit New York, I must eat at this restaurant. Food is super, well prepared and very very tasty. I just can't get my Chinese food like this at home in the south, so I look forward to eating here, when ever I am in town.

A good, decent place for Chinese buffet, also serves some American food. Attentive waitstaff. Parking is to the side, near the back of some businesses, so you see their Dumpsters. Men's room does not have baby-changing table, women's room did but bathroom was dirty (food spilled!) so we changed baby in car. Also has a bar.

Finding a reasonable sit down Chinese restaurant was becoming a chore. Fortunately, Trip Advisor made it easier. First time here and we ordered from the prix fixe, all of our food was pretty damn good. Soup, appetizer, meal and ice cream $20 each, not including beverages and tip/taxes. Today I would call that reasonable. People were nice, server was friendly, beverage refills quick. Sitting area was very clean and modern, looked newly renovated and tastefully done. Will be back. And yes I would recommend!
