Arrived in Galle hungry after a long train trip and was very pleased with the food and service. A nice chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. The chicken curry and coconut samba were excellent.

Seriously the dumplings do not taste handmade and it was not quite worth the price. Not too sure if it is due to been frozen or over steam, the skin was quite dry and tough. But after travelling in Sri Lanka for few days, it is quite a good feeling to have some familiar food as I am Chinese and dumpling (Shui Jiao or Guo Tie) is one of my favourite.

The best and most enjoyable continental meal I have ever eaten in my life. This is not fancy sri lankan but authentic and outstanding. The decor is modern and the roof top concept fully relaxing with fresh ocean wind. The service is outstanding and welcoming, that is a huge statement.Great Hospitality shown by each and every colleague. well trained and perfect grooming. The "PORK CURRY SPICY" was the stand out dish, you could taste the complexity in the gravy if lots of spices. I like Sri Lankan food but once a month or so for me, however I could wish to eat here every night. Thank you for such an amazing meal !!!!!!Definitely, will repeat and Highly Recommending to the food lovers..!Thank you :)

Visited Galle with a colleague who came down from China and fortunately stepped in to Globe restaurant. The restaurant is managed and owned by a Chinese family. The menu contains a lot of variety . Rice, Noodles, Vegetables, Chicken, Meat and sea food⦠you name it they will have it! Sea food dishes were delicious. The Lobsters and prawns we had was fresh and huge. Overall the portions are big and enough even for four and the best part is the price is cheap as ever! (Eg : Half a chicken is just Rs 400). The ambience would not be great â¦. Just an old restaurant but who cares as long as the food is finger linking tasty. Simply the best Chinese food that we have ever had !!!

We came here for a drink after dinner one night and ended up ordering the coconut pancake for dessert. It was delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly. The beachfront ambiance is well done with cool decor, different types of seating, torches at night, and a slack line to have some fun with. Would definitely recommend!
