Dined at the L'Orion several times during my short stay in Antananarivio ( Palm Hotel ) the food and service was first class,a clever mixture of traditional Malagasy and Chinese cuisine.The sea food dishes were exceptionally good.Below the resteraunt there is a themed Bento resteraunt providing lunche where you can order pizza , burgers plus Malagasy food.If you stay in the capital this resteraunt is certanly worth a visit.Ask to talk to Madame Caroline she was always happy to help and offer advice

Not a tourist restaurant - no "bells and whistles", but the best Chinese food we tried in Tana (perhaps we always liked Korean food and not Chinese not knowing it:). Extensive menu, low prices, quick service, clean. You can have Korean barbecue or order cooked meal. The place may be not easy to find unless you know the area, it is on the side street next to the Galana Behoririka. Perfect for Sat/Sun lunch, or even a quick meal during the week. Good for groups to chat over the Korean BBQ. Been there a few times, and very likely stop by again.
