We started going to Hunan Heritage because our usual go to Chinese place, which we mostly frequented simply because of geography, had sort of become nothing but sticky Saucy and gross. The food at Hunan Heritage is pretty basic but it seems to depend more on fresh and good tasting ingredients rather than hiding subpar ingredients below an overly thick layer of sauce.

We eat in the restaurant occasionally and it is always nice and comfortable. BUT more often than not we order take-out and it is always excellent! Tonight we had egg rools-- Fabulous-- the best anywhere!Kung pao shrimp and chicken; Basil triple delight, ALL WERE GREAT!!I Highly Recommend this restaurant!

The restaurant is located in a strip mall,so parking is plentiful. The place is small,but nicely decorated and looks clean. Customers are mostly Korean families. We ordered the kalbi(barbecue), soon doo boo(spicy tofu soup) and jap chae( a transparent noodle dish ). Food tastes home cooked. The pickled side veggies and dishes are delicious as well. This is one of the best Korean restaurants I have tried.

Our group of 20+ tries to get together the last Wednesday of every month. In July we chose Peking Gourmet Inn. This is a restaurant I have patronized occasionally over the years.The restaurant put together a single price menu for us which included a variety of dishes. Most of the dishes were ordered by one member or another. Everybody was satisfied with their meal. I recommend it highly.

I usually eat the small plates here, many of them are just $4 or $5. I really like the Lou Rou Fan braised pork and egg with rice. Rich and delicious. The garlic cucumbers are a good dish to split, they are delicious but the plate is huge. The Suan La Mian sour noodles are outstanding as well. Turnip pastry is a bit bland. The Xiao Long Bao is very tasty but comes with very little of the soup that some cafes manage to produce inside the bun. The Pickled long bean with beef is simply outstanding, just a great dish!The Dan Dan noodles and the spicy won ton look great as well but I haven't had a chance to try them.

Many places offer good Peking duck now, so only old-timers remember that Duck Chang invented the methods now used to prepare it. You used to have to order a couple of days in advance. Now it takes no longer than stir-fry dishes. And it's excellent! This restaurant makes many other good dishes as well, but we always want duck here. Charming, friendly, and understated -- these folks have catered more big-time events, like embassy and White House dinners, than you could imagine. Love it!

This place gives you tea with your meal free of charge, which I love... I always get the meat dumplings and kung pao chicken, both of which are delicious. My husband gets the General Tso's chicken, which is better than at the place by our house.
