We visited Baku for 5 days , tried all diff restaurants per recommendations and my conclusion that Gaynana is the best food and the best value - hands down. It was so good that we visited there 2 times - the only place we went twice in Baku. I liked meat koutabs, my wife - green koutabs, dovga and piti were awesome. Same wine in âSumakhâ restaurant was 40 manats when in Gaynana it was 28 manats. Freshly made bread is not he only reason to go there - it is food, ambience. Waiters speak min 3 languages: Russian, English, Azeri- so no problem at all to communicate. Location in old town - Ichari Sheher - obviously a plus. Highly recommended

A restaurant situated in the old city which offer live MUGAM music (they charge for the music part of food bill). Located in a very beautiful court yard. Decoration is unique with local artifacts and live trees which give you a like forest feeling. . It is off the beaten path of group restaurants, so you have a more intimate experience. The food is traditional and very delicious! excellent dolmas and pilaf! ). Strongly recommended!Thank you for your visit and accurate description of our great restaurant experience. May we inquire, though, why did you rate us 4 star when you describe your food, location and entertainment experience as being 5 stars?
