Nice restaurant in the old town of Baku. The violin player (with accompanying backing track over the speakers) certainly lent to the atmosphere. I tried Uzbek Pilav and was very tasty. Price as compared to quantity is very high. Nice place to sit but music very loud. If quantity is good and music is less loud itâs really good. From the basic Russian delicatessen (improved) to creative interpretations, you need to visit this restaurant at least twice in order to enjoy the true tastes of times gone by. Big restaurant that tends to become noisy with people and children enjoying their foods, but it is reasonable noise. Attentive service, reasonably priced and huge selection.

I came here for dinner and the next day for breakfast. The menu has many different options for reasonable prices. Ramil, the server, was so helpful and kind even though I don't speak a word of Azeri. I recommend going here over the overpriced restaurants within the Old City walls.

We have visited this restaurant on the 15th October on recommendation from our local guide on where to try the famous Shakh Plov. And we have not been disappointed. Shakh Plov was very-very tasty and the presentation beautiful. The starters were also very nice and I loved pomegranate wine! The restaurant is conveniently centrally located, although could be a challenge to climb the steps when getting out for people with walking difficulties as it is in the basement. The service was attentive. I cannot fault it. Also the bill was very reasonable. Thank you!

It is almost 8th year that I am using the services of Cafe City and enjoy every part. Just a bit negative comment about the late service. But interior design, quality of food, music selection is just wow. If you are a tourist visiting Baku, you can try their national menu, specially DOLMA. Negative thing for the family with little kids, they do not have baby change room, even baby change table.

Fantastic find! Went for dinner here based on the trip advisor reviews and it did not disappoint. Our waiter had good English and made us feel very welcome.
