Отель

Reviewed By Artur M

WiFi did not work, otherwise great value

Reviewed By Pierre W

You can get a very comfortable, quiet, clean single room for an incredibly low price here. My first plan was a Homestay (guesthouse) but at least this hotel is easy to find and has a sign ! For some unknown reason, the WiFi did not work. The best thing to do here is the Janapar trail stage through the gorges (Hunot, Zontik waterfall).

We are a family-owned guesthouse in the central neighborhood of Shushi, on the crossroad next to the terminus of the bus line, 200m up from the Ghazanchetsots Church. Great place

Armen and Christina are very hospitable and nice. They speak Armenian, English, and French. They know many things about Shushi and Nagorno-Karabach, and can even arrange a tour around the region. They are very selfsufficient with their home garden and animals. A very good place to stay!

Cozy hotel with amazing view and tranquility

Reviewed By Vardanush N

This is a cozy hotel on the hilltop near Shushi, Artsakh, where everyone can feel comfort, warmth, and relaxation. Panoramic view from the hotel is amazing. Rooms, toilet and bedding are clean. Hotel is managed by a very hospitable family always ready to help. They served homemade, fresh and traditional Artsakh dishes. Not suitable for the ones without car, as it is a bit far from the nearest cities: Stepanakert and Shushi.

Buy cheap - get cheap

Reviewed By Ben W

When some of my relatives and I visited Stepanakert we tried to find a nice, inexpensive hotel. But most of the hotels we checked were fully booked. By chance we discovered the Ocean Hotel. That hotel is a very cheap place to stay; the comfort is very low. The room in that we stood was very simple. When we arrived the toilet wasn’t flushed and beds were not prepared. The fridge in the room was smelling so terrible that we didn’t want to store our food in it but used the central fridge for it. Although we were not able to access it, free WiFi supposed to be available. The drainage of the open shower in the washroom was very slow. This lead to the situation that the washroom was at least partially flooded after each showering – and we were 3 people. The water pressure at the shower was an issue too: It needed some tricks and luck to get a sufficient water stream. Breakfast was not offered. One had to climb several stairs to reach the lobby. It appears that no elevator was available. Despite the lack of comfort we slept pretty. It was quiet during the night, most likely since we had windows that were facing away from the main street. If someone wants a cheap room without comfort, one may go there. 2.5 out of 5
