Fun ambiance in Logan's "Breakfast District," we first had these pancakes at the Farmer's Market. Filling, fluffy, and great homemade syrup. Price is just shy of $6 for two pancakes and just over $8 for 4. I went after not eating for almost 24 hours (and have a large appetite generally anyway) and still came home with left-overs. BUUUT.... my four pancakes (nothing fancy, just 4 pancakes, and pancakes are literally almost ALL that is on the menu) came almost 45 minutes AFTER I ordered. I then got up to get my syrup (not brought to the table) and discovered they were out of their buttermilk syrup. Knowing it was worth the wait, I waited for an additional almost 15 minutes for more syrup for the pancakes. I finally walked up to other guests who had 2 syrups on their table and asked if I could use 1. So by the time I ATE, it was nearly 1 hour since I walked into the restaurant AND my food was cold. I was there lunching with friends, and we didn't mind the extra time (or needing to clean/bus the only table that sat more than 4 people so we could sit there). So all this said, would I go back? At lunch? Never. I hope ours was just an off day, but none of my friends had been before, so sadly, our first experience was less than stellar.
