Stopped here for lunch and not impressed with food that was served. Had the crispy beef wrap. Absolutely disgusting. Beef was neither crispy or tender. Wrap was so oily that I just couldn't eat it. My husband had a chicken and bacon panini which was drowned in ranch sauce and bland!! Also had an Energy drink made up of different juices and ginger. This was really nice and refreshing. Great if you want a drink, forget the food!!

We love our morning coffee and had noticed this outlet on our first day driving through town. We decided to stop off here the next day before meeting up at the information centre for our excursion. We put through our normal order and the coffee was pretty good when we received it but we asked about the sausage rolls and pies heating that looked really good. We called back here for lunch and both ordered a seafood pie and my husband wanted a bit of carrot cake. All the food was very tasty but the pies could have been hotter, one of my pet hates, and I normally ask if the pies are hot but didn't on this occasion. The carrot cake was very full of carrot and walnuts and very tasty.

Thought we would try dining here again. Staff were very busy but we waited over 5 minutes to be given a table as they continued to serve people that were in line to order meals or standing at the bar ordering drinks, but we were standing where it said wait to be seated as we had a reservation. Staff walked past us several times but did not acknowledge us or make any form of greeting. We were deciding whether to leave when finally a very rude male staff member (I believe his name was Shaun) asked us if we had a table. Informed him that we had a booking and then he proceded to talk to another couple in the ordering line asking if they had a table. So far not impressed with their service. Next I hear Shaun say "I can deal with 2 customers at once madam" in a very rude tone. The meals have improved quite a bit since our last visit. There was one male staff member who was delivering meals to tables and he was so cheerful, polite and helpful and certainly made guest feel relaxed. Perhaps other staff working that night need to take some lessons from him. Sadly he was not wearing a name badge otherwise I would certainly be mentioning his name.

Really enjoyed our lunch today at the Mint Cafe. Nice variety and plenty of seating inside and out. They were very busy, but you didn't feel as though you were sitting on top of each other. I had a mocha and the grilled haloumi burger. It was delicious came with a serve of chips. My friend enjoyed the lamb tapas. There are some vegetarian and vegan choices available. They also do open earlier for breakfast menu. Good selection of cakes if you just want that and coffee.Meals came out in good time even though they were very busy. Staff friendly and service very good.
