When you call your cafe awesome, you’re setting the bar pretty high. At first glance the surroundings don’t disappoint, there’s enough ‘awesome’ decorations and curated memorabilia to make you feel like you’re in a hipster-themed Instagram photoshoot. The service is good with the staff attentive, although it was a little crowded at lunch so they were understandably a little busy and sometimes preoccupied with other tables. The ‘awesome salad’ was not as awesome as I expected however, as it felt like a little bit of everything had be thrown together rather than finding the most awesome combination of ingredients. As the chicken breast, salmon and prosciutto ham, although large in portion were a little too contrasting in flavours to go with the half avocado the salad was topped with. Anyway the lunch was enjoyable overall and there’s enough trinkets and decorations around you to keep you occupied throughout.

I came here with my Bf. We found this place online and we love it immediately when we arrived there. We were greeted warmly by Mr Leo and his family. They serve really good local food and also western food. Their Indonesian oxtail soup is my favourite. It’s so flavourful and delicious and also addicted. Mr Leo will chat with us when we finished our meal and he is a real lovely person. If you want a real genuine service and semi local scene in Singapore, u must come here ! Love it!

The service in Singapore is really bad. We have been sitting here for 20 minutes and noone has served us. Can't get anyones attention. My wife's had to go get menus. Might be an idea to ask people if they'd like a menu or a drink when showing them to the seats instead of running off!Dear Compass2101,Thank you for your review. It is unfortunate that we did not live up to the service expectations and would like to apologize for the same. We will definitely take it up with the outlet team. We hope this slip did not affect you view about us and we look forward to welcoming you back again at Crossroads Cafe.Kind regards,Sushant
