My husband and I stopped here only because we needed to kill a little bit of time while waiting for our clothes to dry at the nearby laundromat. The food was perfectly fine -- a simple menu of breakfast and lunch items -- but what made a big impression was the man who waited on us, who I assume was the owner. He was so helpful and eager to make sure we were happy customers. His friendly attitude really brightened our day.THANK YOU!YOU make my day when i read this!! Family group, coffees, sparkling water, beer, crepes and galettes. Polite staff, great for people watching as the cafe is on the edge of the daily market. Food came in dribs and drabs but who cares? Shady areas to escape the midday sun.

This was one of those experiences when you want to buy everything because it all looks so wonderful! The chicken salad was good, although I found the croque monsieur a little stodgy and the chocolate eclair was very moreish! There's no seating inside, but can sit outside and watch the world go by. Don't have decaf coffee, but Lapsang Souchong tea very good alternative.

Saw the other reviews here and was a bit concerned. However, have eaten here two years in a row and had good experiences both times. Nice food at reasonable prices in a stunning location. Service was friendly and quick. Have also had morning coffee here and that was good. Couldnât fault this place.
