It is located on the eastern end of the Bay of Quinte. Greater Napanee municipality was created by amalgamating the old Town of Napanee with the townships of Adolphustown, North and South Fredericksburgh, and Richmond in 1999. Greater Napanee is co-extensive with the original Lennox County.

Sometimes one comes across a business that has captured a unique spirit in the staff, product and service it offers.Ellena's Cafe has captured that. It is pretty neat with an ecclectic mix of great food, rock solid staff, a nicely appointed store and a complimentary business or two that rent there. Cool stuff, that seems like it blends well.

We were directed to the Chit Chat cafe because I am celiac and cannot eat gluten. There was a good selection of gluten free wraps, deserts and soup available. However we found everything very very salty. My husband had the chicken (not GF) and described it as mediocre. His desert was good and I think deserts are what this place does well.
