Koggala is a small coastal town, situated at the edge of alagoon on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Galle District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. Koggala is bounded on one side by a reef, and on the other by a large lake, Koggala Lake, into which the numerous tributaries of the Koggala Oya drain. It is approximately 139 kilometres (86 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above the sea level.

Located on the main Street behind the beach, happy hour 6:30 till 8:30pm. Beer 350rps per large tin,normally 500rps.Nice wooden style place where you can watch your food being cooked. Easy background music with pleasant atmosphere.10% service charge.Did not eat here but looks good food.Polite staff

Stumbled across this place as we were looking for some sunbeds to have a relaxing last day in Sri Lanka. Sunbeds were free to use if you bought food/drink or hired a paddleboard! We planned on spending the day & having lunch so a great deal. Run by a super friendly team, local lads & a British couple. Tried various delicious smoothies & the Beetroot & Feta salad & cheese toastie my friend had were great. Water is served by the glass, awesome to see a little less plastic in circulation.Definitely recommend regardless of whether or not you hire a paddleboard!Thank you for your awesome review. We feel VERY STRONGLY about reducing the single use plastic and we really enjoy working together as a team to make our space nice and welcoming for all guests. I'd been wanting to stay at Ceylon Sliders from the moment I had come across their page on Instagram.My partner and I had booked 1 night accommodation in the Island Suite, and was great. Interiors were very modern and the room was spacious, with a walk out onto the balcony overlooking the beach.The staff were all so friendly, rooms were relaxing, breakfasts were delicious and cocktails were tasty. We've already recommended Ceylon Sliders for a place to stay and eat to many friends looking to add Sri Lanka on their travel list.

We found this restaurant while walking on the beach doing a bit off fishing.we had our lunch prawn curry and kuttu.it was out off this world.we even went back the next day and had the crab curry. Which I also recommend.its not the cheapest place but it's the best food in this area and worth every penny.the staff are so friendly and obliging. As the name âpleasureâ suggests, this small typical restaurant offers a variety of very yummy traditional food. The owner is a little bit quite but a character! Maybe a couple of fans would be useful during lunch hours if itâs too warm.Recomended

We arrived late in Galle Fort after a long drive from Ella via Udawalawe National Park and needed a feed. We stumbled across Elita and it was probably the best dinner we had in Galle Fort. Prices were on the very slightly higher end but after getting our plates we saw why. I had a whole snapper in a yellow coconut curry which was cooked perfectly and my husband had the grilled Prawns which looked more lobsters they were so big!Excellent meal and nice friendly staff.
