It was incorporated on May 22, 1907 as Pablo Beach, and would later change its name to Jacksonville Beach in 1925. The city is part of group of communities collectively referred to as the Jacksonville Beaches. These communities include Mayport, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Ponte Vedra Beach. When the city of Jacksonville consolidated with Duval County in 1968, Jacksonville Beach, together with Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Baldwin, voted to retain their own municipal governments. As a result, citizens of Jacksonville Beach are also eligible to vote in mayoral election for the City of Jacksonville. As of the 2010 census, Jacksonville Beach had a total population of 21,362.

Yummy. I could repeat that several times. They are open for breakfast and lunch but I have only had breakfast there. They fried green tomatoes are like some sort of pastry/cake thing. Definitely a place for a great breakfast. Even my terribly picky friend likes to go there and it took a bit to pry him away from the Beach Hut. The food is presented well and the service is very good. The coffee too and I drink decaf - which is not very good everywhere. The french toast is yummy especially with the whipped cinnamon butter. Biscuits are as good as my mothers and the omelettes are perfect.I would imagine the lunch is just as good and have been meaning to get by there for the same. The tables are spaced well apart from each other so you do not hear the next tables conversation or feel like you are dining with strangers. Do try it. You will really like it!

What amazing place! A lovely boutique at the beach with a wonderful tea room. We had the afternoon tea for two. Two incredible pots of tea, wedding tea and Early Grey...perfection! We had the tea sandwiches- cucumber, chicken salad, and pimento...wow. For dessert- coconut cake, blackberry tart, and lemon scone...unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere is so beautiful and relaxing! Every moment was just awesome and the staff was outstanding! We can't wait to go back!

We found this wonderful place with super friendly Jacksonville residents serving delicious food and offering excellent service! Another nearby favorite chain was at capacity and we googled breakfast nearby and voila!!! Best ever ! Cannot wait to enjoy it again and also the coffee is better than many places these days too if you like it better than hot water with a splash of caffeine. We sure do!French toast or skillet portuon... excellent and they leave nothing out on the menu!Go!!

This was our first time for breakfast although we have enjoyed lunches there before. Hubby had Eggs Benedict with salmon, and I enjoyed the delicious French toast with fresh fruit.......both excellent choices. We are very much looking forward to returning for the great food and prompt and efficient service.

Hands down, had the best breakfast EVER this morning! Quaint little place with BIG options. I had a hash dish that was just beyond... Big on flavor, portion was big...highly recommend if youâre looking for a little different twist on breakfast. Bought muffins for friends, but didnât try them yet. They are huge, def meant for more than 1 person. Inside seating is small but plenty of outside seating. My next visit to Jax Beach...this place will be FIRST on my list!

Not sure which we come here for the most, their fantastic peanut butter pie or their great sandwiches. The choice of sandwiches id huge and varied and all of them look/taste delicious. Our favorites are the build a hero ( double ham and swiss) and the croissant cordon blu with extra turkey. If we are feeling decadent like we were today, we'll split a piece of the buy which is so good and rich I recommend that is what you should do. Fun down-home, local haunt; with great Breakfast menu (if you like breakfast foodâI Donât unfortunately). The pot roast was OK. The vegetables were the best part of the meal. Corn bread was bland. The sweet tea was very good. Service was excellentâ- friendly and quick. Very reasonable prices.

This is a wonderful place for lunch , brunch and breakfast . The biscuits are delicious !! I love the homemade apple butter . The chicken is fresh and tasty . It is self service so you have to wait in line to order . The kids meals are nice sized for kids up to 10.
