Flemington is a borough in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,581, reflecting an increase of 381 (+9.1%) from the 4,200 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 153 (+3.8%) from the 4,047 counted in the 1990 Census. It is the county seat of Hunterdon County. Most of the borough is in the Amwell Valley (a low-lying area of the Newark Basin), but northwest portions of the borough sit on the Hunterdon Plateau.

If quality and originality take precedent over pomp and service, this is the place for you. The menu is ever-changing and wide-ranging, put their emphasis is on the food preparation. Baked items are spectacular, and their coffee is superb. Order at the counter and then find a table but don't be in a hurry- they take time. But the flavor is well worth the wait. Open for breakfast and lunch only.Thank you John for your review. Recently we were in Flemington and wanted to try someplace different for lunch, so we ate at the Garden State Salad, which was definitely a good choice. My wife & I shared one of the tasty sandwich specials. The friendly atmosphere of this restaurant made it an enjoyable and relaxing lunch experience.

Very friendly staff! Somehow feels like a hometown welcome when your there. Coffee & scones were delicious! I will stick with just that next time I go for breakfast. I was disappointed with my western omelet. Wasn't a typical omelet, they mixed everything together then fried it to a flat pancake looking thing. If you serve a western omelet, you should offer Salsa. I prefer Theresa's for lunch. But it was nice and quiet.Thank you for your kind review. I am sorry that the omelet was not to your liking, please stop in a again and try us for breakfast.

nice little mom and pa type of place...food good , service great & friendly....lots of regulars, so that is always a good sign....gets a little crowded on the weekends but it is worth it....beats the big mega diners in town, hands down...
