We had BBQ Ribs from Darrellâs on our last visit to Venice in July and they were excellent. Based on our first visit we decided to try the ribs again and were very disappointed. As before we got the ribs to go and they had very little meet on the bones, very fatty and greasy. You bite into the bone and the bone was soft and would fall apart. Worse ribs weâve had and wonder what happened between July and now. Mac & Cheese and Cole Slaw were good. Not sure if weâd go back again due to the lousy ribs.

The road leading up to your restaurant nearly bottomed out my car. So many huge potholes that couldnât be avoided. I had the 1/2 BBQ chicken which was succulent and added the table BBQ sauces. Homemade potato chips were fantastic. The green beans were yummy too. The service was great and our waitress checked in three times during our lunch.Old Florida hip spot for sure. Iâd go againto listen to music but not going again til that road is fixed.

Another great experience from Rib City. Ordered via cell phone for take out. Got the Feast for Two, excellent! When I arrived it was ready, hot, the waitress/cashier was pleasant asked it I wanted additional BBQ sauce and checked me out quickly. Once home had a fabulous meal while watching college football! Will I go back, YES!
