...this is a smokehouse, so for some reason I expect American size portions. While the brisket was very tasty, it's not a massive helping. I looked at some other photos and probably should have gone with the burger.Staff are very good, reasonably quick although it can be hard to get their attention. Beers are cold but not a huge range, we stuck with Bintang.Like I said food was OK, and for the price probably about right, I just figured there would be a bigger meal.

A very posh steakhouse with upbeat and trendy setting. Service was friendly and professional. Other than beef, the menu also offers some seafood for main course. The starters and side dishes were innovative and interesting. They offerred around 20 types of high grade/premium beef from Australia, America and Japan. Beef can be ordered by weight or by size. If I remembered correctly, they were priced IDR120,000(USD9)-1000,000(USD70) per 100gm. I ordered a piece of 300g and it was perfectly cooked. The exterior was nicely crusty and the interior remained tender and moist Recommended. I love Korean food so I was delighted when a friend I was dinning with agreed we try The Grill. We were not disappointed. It turned out to be some of the best Korean I had including inn New York and Seoul itself.The place itself is modest, located in the lower ground of a mall. However it was contemporary in decor and spotless. We were seated without fuss and served menus with pictures of some delectable cuts of beef.We opted for the ribs (Kalbi) and some Wagyu.The place offers charcoal grilling on the table and serves the meat conveniently sliced. The banchan has to be ordered separately but is terrifically flavourful and generous. The meat, though very high quality, tender and marbled, is served more frugally.Still, I am not complaining as before we were done we had polished of 6 orders of beef plus an small side of prawns to boot. And were feeling thoroughly satiated and very happy. Service was friendly and quick.Overall highly recommended. I will be back every visit to Jakarta.

Have been a number of times, and this place does not disappoint. Whether it is a couple or a group - the food and the service is very consistent. There is plenty of parking for those that drive themselves. The owner Eugenio and his staff are attentive and friendly and prices are on-par with the quality of the food. There is a good choice of alcohol, beer, wine, spirits and sangria. Menu is not too extensive, however there is enough choice for everyone, even if you are not a carnivore.Well worth a visit.Dear A4Z,Thank you for coming to our restaurant & yes, if you are not in the mood for meat we have pasta selections. First up, thanks to Kat and team for being super patient and accommodating of our table's cooking requirements - sorry for the hassle :) and yes, Kat, you were 100% correct, the rib was bang on medium in the middle !Ordered the beef rib and a strip sirloin, then complicated the order by asking for two different temperatures on both meats and yet the result was perfect. Both were juicy and bang on temperature.On the table too was a big bowl if Argentinian salad which was really nicely presented and of decent size, plus a nice plate of warm bread and dips, all of which disappeared quickly.Wine prices are on point, there's a wide range and something available for all budgets I feel.All in all, super happy with the dinner at La Posta, the food and staff delivered on all points and the price was very acceptable - I will be back next time I'm in Jakarta for sure.Hey Jeff!
