Finally had the opportunity to stop here for dinner with family members on a Sunday evening....and no, we didn't order ribs....saving that for a later visit., This is a busy place so there was a short wait. This is a mega sports bar with wall to wall tvs...even in some of the booths!! There are multiple seating areas...bar and also a bar area with hi-top tables, regular seating area and "patio" seating which really isn't outdoors. There is plenty to select from on the menu. A couple of us had a French Dip with Fries that was tender and tasty! Two others had Fish and Fries and said it was really good. One other had Chicken Strips, Fries, Mac & Cheese. The only disappointment was the Brisket Sandwich. The meat was dry and not tender and no "flavor". Next time perhaps we'll try some ribs, since this is what they tout in their advertisements. Service was very good - very friendly young lady. We did have some problem with trying to get a HOT cup of coffee for one of the people in our party. They had no problem with us hanging around a while, playing cards. We'll go back.

If you are visiting Westgate for an event or simply for eating, you have a plethora of dining options. Our large group visited recently for lunch. Wait staff was pleasant and very competent and with a smile. Our main concern was that the back room where we were seated was extremely noisy. It was difficult to hear your closest guest. My wife had the daily $5 burger with fries. Burger was overcooked on the perimeter. Fries were served hot and good. I had a BBQ chicken wrap. It was good. Baked beans side were to my liking. A little spice, ample chunks of bacon. Portions are ample. Overall, this is a good, but not outstanding, pub food place. Does not feel real 'country' but wait staff and décor is their positioning.
