We stumbled on this place on Labor Day as it was the only place open! So glad we did! Their Mediterranean Pizza is hands down the best pizza I've ever had (And I've had it all over including Chicago and New York). They also have an amazing Bruschetta and great cocktails. Sunday's are half price pizza 2-5pm so check them out!

I could barely eat a quarter of the half of chicken. No smoke flavor, they must use a salty rub VERY salty. Totally uneatable. The baked beans were bland and the coleslaw had a weird wang to the flavor. Husband had the Prime Rib melt and said it was OK, but he wouldn't go back.

This is a very nice restaurant/brewery/theater. see pics. You donât have to see a movie to eat here. Very nicely put together in the middle of the mall, upper level. I love the set up. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Prices are a bit high, but not higher than most theaters. I donât drink beer, but there were many people eating and drinking here mid afternoon. Parking lot. Comfort Food & Drink in Historic Valley Junction Est. 2011 Amazing food menu with full service bar and largest beer, craft cocktail, martini & wine selection in the area Voted best kept secret in Des Moines local restaurant scene.
We ate here on a recent business trip. The tomahawk pork chop was good. The service was very good and attentive. I would come back.

Not the best BBQ. I had the brisket platter, overall the sliced brisket was good but the burnt ends were really over cooked and dry. I would just get the sliced brisket next time. The service was amazing and the beer was cold.

The food was wonderful. We ordered ala carte items, avocado toast and the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes with spicy potatoes. Everything was wonderful! Drinks included Irish coffee and Saint of Good morning. Both were excellent but the Irish coffee was one of the best Iâve had! Definitely recommend. Glad you enjoyed your brunch! We hope to see you in again soon! Our happy hour is 3-6 every day of the week and brunch is Tuesday-Sunday from 10 Am-3 PM.

Restaurant was very crowded and somewhat loud but atmosphere was good. My son had the ribs which he loved, the sides of macaroni and cheese and baked beans were excellent. Wifeâs sandwich was excellent and I really enjoyed the pulled pork, brisket and jalapeño creamed corn. Another plus is that the menu has so many choices. Highly recommend if in Des Moines.

I took my kids here (ages 8, 10, 12, 15). We all had a great experience. They loved the beef stroganoff, chicken Kiev, pirogies, & creme brule. (They have a kids menu, too). The owner came out and talked to us. She is just a bundle of positive energy. This place is a gem in the Des Moines area.

Went to dinner with friends. It was a Wednesday, and they have half-price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. My friends were very excited about this because it was unknown to us! We started our dinner with salads. The homemade creamy Italian dressing was really good. I ordered the chicken deburgo, and chose a baked potato for the side. All of the food was wonderful. I took half of the potato and half of the chicken home! The flavors, the tenderness of the chicken, to the salad dressing; everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.
