Warm and inviting on a cold Melbourne night. Extensive menu, reasonably priced. Had Chicken Parmigiano and wasn't disappointed. Good range of beers. Friendly wait staff.

Went with my friend and husband and our son for dinner, the meals were small,my friend got a stickie date and it had chocolate sauce and it was dried, the kids got ice cream with chocolate or strawberry topping but the ice cream was in a small container.the were nice but sorry the food was a big let down.Hey Jane,Sorry to hear about your night here at The Sugar Gum Hotel, We have just launched our new menu last week and I think you would be happy with the size of the meals now as they have changedHope to see you in the venue soon and have a great Christmas!Thank you

We stayed 6 nights at the Mercure WestWaters Hotel in November 2018.We ate 4 times at the restaurant/bistro in the evenings. They do dinner every night, but lunch only Thursday to Sunday (though days have been extended for Christmas I think), and breakfast not at all. When the bistro is not open you can eat in the smaller cafe. The menu is excellent and suits our tastes very well. There are many items there we would happily order. There is also a good drinks menu.We enjoyed our meals every time, and the service was good. Price was reasonable, made even better with my Accor membership discounts. We will hopefully return to this hotel and this restaurant.

Anniversary dinner on Valentineâs Day. No Accorplus discount was the first minus. Then barmaid looked dumbstruck when I ordered Pinoir griso. Steak came well done not medium rare. Sauce was not only on the side where it was requested but also over the steak where it wasnât wanted. Veggie burger was close to inedible but the fries were very good. Very disappointing overall.

The Sporting Globe - Watergardens is Melbourneâs premium Sports Bar & Grill and the place to watch all the biggest sporting events LIVE from around the globe on over 60 HD screens. Our contemporary casual dining bistro and bar offers a great quality menu
Attended with 7 others. Great selection on the varied menuo. Most of the party chose hamburgers. Although very plentiful with ingredience, mine however was a little of the cold side, and seeing how we had waiting for some time, due mainly to the amount of people dining.Service great, atmosphere great

Busy Saturday night after wonderful day at Flemington races. Unfortunately, ordered bruschetta pizza which was like cardboard or something worse. Didnât finish it. Next was my penne pasta which I didnât finish either. Found a bunch of thin noodles in my penne pasta which was somewhat off putting. Should of complained to management but wasnât in the mood after having had a great day at the races. Companions meal Mongolian sizzling beef reportedly was also poor. Worst meal we have had in years and years. Companion had warned not to eat here but it is close to home. Service was ok. Lovely receptionist. Dear lukecT5039SA, Thank you for your feedback regarding your dinner in our JBJ's restaurant. I have looked into your feedback and we served over 250 meals on Saturday evening. All of our dishes featured on our menu are freshly prepared and the dishes you had chosen are quite popular and multiple were sold on the night. I have passed your feedback on to our head chef. The thin noodles referred to in the penne mushroom pasta, are in fact enoki mushrooms, not noodles. I am sorry that you felt the meals were not of a satisfactory standard. Kind Regards,Stella Sarikoudis
