Interesting place-if you're looking for quiet-there's really only one spot-an odd enclosed room in the front of the restaurant. That was our choice so we could hear ourselves talk. We three had quite a tasting from the menu. Sister had margarita on the rocks-I had a blackberry frozen margarita. Both excellent. We ordered several small plates-artichoke fritters with lemon aioli, corned beef tacos, 3 dips with chips and polenta with mushrooms and marinara. The fritters were great-although fried were light and fresh. The tacos had tender corned beef, but needed more slaw to provide much needed moisture. The three dips-a salsa verde with avocado (need more avocado), roasted tomato and pimento cheese were all acceptable. The polenta was good-but we would have preferred it crispy rather than baked. Hubby had ribs and fried chicken with waffle fries for an entree. All were good, but a cup of slaw would be a nice addition. Sister and I each had chimichurri chicken. Both lovers of that sauce-this was not edible. It had a bitter taste to it which overan everything on the plate. The server removed them both after our comments and we shared another order of the chicken and ribs. I'd return (if in the area) and have a couple of small plates-but doubt I'd go down the hill from Auburn just to eat here. There's too many options with a higher success rate than we experienced.Looks like you enjoyed most everything, we look forward to seeing you when you are in the area.

This dog-friendly place got our attention, so we packed up our min-pin Maggie and went for lunch. Getting seated took more than 19 minutes though the outdoor covered dog area was not full. As we marched in, a dozen or so dogs yelped a greeting to our Maggie. I would think there were some loud barking days here, but it was peaceful on our visit. The dog area is open on the sides, but covered excrpt for an opening over the fire pit.The dog scene is an attractive area with seating for about 60 people, not dogs. The fire pit with 12 seats around it is in the middle. Draft beer offerings number in the 20s. I had a 16-oz Blue Moon Belgian, My lunch was a black bean Jackfruit Tostada ($13.85). Wonderful…and filling. Wife had some ribs and took a few home.Very nice restrooms. Seating is massive indoors. Great concept. Super food. Friendly servers. We like it and will return.

Went for lunch expecting it to be quiet as Downtown Roseville on a Saturday usually is. Boy were we wrong! Good all round menu salads, burgers, fish, steaks and a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. We both had the fish and chips and these are the best locally we have ever had - we could have been in England! Server was excellent and we didn't have too long to wait for food or drinks. Will definitely return.

I stay at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street; therefore, walking distance. I was excited to see there was an Islands. I have been here twice since doing business in Roseville, and also ate at the one in Pasadena. Great burgers and if you get there for happy hour, a great selection of bar food and beers. I have also sat in the bar, had a beer, and ordered dinner for carry out in the room. Love this place.

Be aware the portions are very large and could easily be shared. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Good service for a large party. I recommend the Tri tips, Cobb salad and the wedge salad. My only complaint is the side of mac and cheese was disgusting! Spiral noodles with cheese sauce that tastes like a tv dinner. I expected something creamy and homemade.

It was crowded on a recent Friday at noon but we were able to get a table in the bar area. I wanted to dine in their outdoor patio but they said they weren't seating people outside as they had an issue with the firewall. We split a large chicken asian salad of some sort and they did the split in the kitchen which was a nice touch. I think the salad was $13.99. We each had a glass of wine and the total bill was just under $40. A little pricey for lunch but it was good and we enjoyed watching people and visiting.
