We enjoyed a tasty evening meal here on a warm evening. We had the (dessert) cheese board for starters because there were no vegetarian options - it was very good, however, and the walnuts, green salad and four cheeses were excellent. We had the vegetarian platter for mains (the only option available) and that was delicious, with melon, olives, green salad, feta cheese and lightly toasted bread (see photos). The staff were friendly if slightly chaotic. Our friends enjoyed entrecôte steak, giant crispy king prawns, and trout tartare.

Terrific local feel. Packed on off season Saturday night. Let us eat at bar. Four of us and it worked. Staff is so friendly and explained all. Everyone loved the food. With 2 drinks each and full stomachs we spent 12 euro each Inc tip. Have a fun night in Pau at a Spanish tapas bar.

Minute from our hotel, this place served us very good and affordable food twice during our stay in Pau. Great atmosphere and quaint. English speaking server treated us very well and the food was just what we were looking for. A+

Stopped here for lunch on a recent short visit to Pau. It was very busy so I assumed it must be good and I wasn't disappointed. Really tasty, affordable and uncomplicated food, with just enough creativity from the chef to keep it interesting. The staff are very friendly, and the waitress who served me spoke English which was a nice change from my usual struggle with minimal French! I would definitely go there again, and highly recommend!
