Food was good. I had the burger and my wife split a pizza with her mom. They really enjoyed the Margherita Pizza. I actually prefer darker beers, the only one I liked was from Municipal Brewery which from a competitor across the river. Emily, our server, was very good and attentive and made the dining experience very nice.

It was the first time I went to that bar or ate there....I was thoroughly IMPRESSED to say the least...very friendly lady who was working...Very sweet and outgoing!!! But the bar was so nice for a bar, relaxing, plenty of tv's, pool table, dart board, along with a stage for bands, and they had plenty of seating, good food, very well kept and clean, clean, clean!!!...and plenty of liquor and alcohol...great first Impressions. Definitely be doing lunch there again. :)

Located in a rural area, midway between the suburbs of Cincinnati, Hamilton, and Fairfield, Ohio, this bar/restaurant/outdoor entertainment venue has been resurrected a few times in the past 10 years, but its latest incarnation seems destined to last. The menu is loaded with trendy favorites, classic pub fare, and good-old comfort foods; the full bar offers a selection capable of satisfying nearly any palate; the wait staff is warm, friendly, efficient and attentive. The outdoor area, in back, hosts live music, and very lively games and gathering, weather permitting. We tried the pulled pork (Highly Recommend), the fries (thick, but crisp, with NO grease residue on the plate), a Double-Decker (if you like to concoct your own sandwich combination, this is IT), the house chips (Saratoga style), and the incredible Cole Slaw (this is worth the trip all by itself - a perfect blend of sweet & tangy, to compliment the savory nature of the barbecue), washed down with our favorite drafts. Honestly, the food was exceptional, the servings were more than ample, the beers were cold to the last drop (no room left after the one pint + meal, even though it was Happy Hour) - all this for under $25 (before tip). Before I declare this place Tavern Nirvana, I'll check out their appetizers and dinners, but I suspect my wife and I have found our new "place".

Ate at this restaurant a few years ago. It was great. Ate there Aug 2016 and it was horrible. Ordered margarita chicken with asparagus/rice. The chicken was rubbery, the asparagus looked like wilted spinach. Couldn't cut thru the chicken, no flavor in the rice or asparagus. Server was gracious and apologetic. She offered to bring another dish so I figured cheeseburger and fries would be quick enough. But cheeseburger was raw on inside, not edible. Server was great, took the entire meal off the bill since we were ready to leave. What's going on at this place?

For those of you who are looking for a place to eat out in Hamilton and want great food at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Drink prices are reasonable as well. I know what you're thinking? A bowling alley, give me a break.... Really, this is one place you got to check out. It's still a functioning bowling alley with other games like Giant Jenga, pool, volleyball in the summer and a video golf game that people come for miles around to play apparently (not my bag, but a fun option for those who are into it). The place is run by a guy named Mike that makes you feel at home. I see him going around to make sure everyone is taken care of. I get the impression, he doesn't know everyone, he didn't know us when he came over to chat. He has a woman named LeighAnn that is running the kitchen and she's got it going on. Every time we go there, they are trying something new for their menu. So far we've tried their Hot Pepper Cheese Steak (from the bread to the innards, it's unbelievably good), Fajita Salad that comes in a deep fried bread bowl (Wow). They make these little burger sliders on a Brioche bun that are so good. My husband loves their wings with the Gold Rush Sauce (great original taste). They just started putting egg rolls with a twist on the menu (Rueben, Sausage and Cheese, YUM). We were there one night and they had a tapas style deviled egg where one was a regular deviled egg and the other had been deep fried. Really unusual stuff, but everything has been outstanding. The atmosphere is old, bowling alley shabby chic with locals that are comfortable and step outside by the fire pit to have a smoke. We've been there a few times, don't really know the owner, but he's trying to do something with this place, and it really shows. They could use some help with lighting in the parking lot. It's funny, you pull in the lot and sometimes it is so full, but there's no one in the bar/restaurant. They have a large number of fund raising events here because of wide assortment of entertainment. Looks like their winter bowling leagues just started up. I've even seen a high school reunion here. Just a heads up to those looking for a drink and some great food. Try it, you won't be disappointed. We live in Hamilton, there are so few options for a place to grab a beer at a reasonable price that has great food. This is it.

This is an unusual place because you have to order and pay up front, then they bring you your food. We stopped here for lunch because they advertised an, "Award Winning Walleye Sandwich". They also offer a batter-fried fish sandwich so we ordered one of each. The walleye ($9.99) was the better of the two but mediocre at best. The deep-fried filet was bigger than the hoagie bun but cut pretty thin. I don't know what award the walleye sandwich got but I would bet it wasn't for the best fish sandwich in town. The batter-fried fish sandwich ($8.99) was a flat out disappointment; the fish sandwich you get at any Frisch's is much better. At those prices they should be able to do better. It's a Sport's bar atmosphere with lots of TV's and several beers on tap. I gave 3 stars but 2 and a half is, IMHO, more accurate. Will not be going back any time soon.
