This is a very good café close to the centre of Arosa. Good coffee and not even that expensive -- by Swiss terms. Plenty of memorabilia for the ice hockey fraternity.Menu also looked good for quick snacks and post skiing/walking cocktails.

It was already my second time here and even though the reception was friendlier this time, the food was only okay. My boyfriends Steak & Fries were delicious but my Vegetable Tajine wasn’t too good. The vegetables were not too well cooked and still rather hard. Prosecco was delicious and the bread too.

OK this is not a fancy restaurant, so if you want fine dining go elsewhere. You won't find a five-star chef, and there are no tablecloths. BUT if you are looking for a place for a drink or two, a light meal, and you want to have some fun as well, I can recommend the Mountain Café wholeheartedly. The food was way better than I anticipated, and the prices were fair (and this is otherwise an expensive resort). Friendly Staff.P.S. I am from Colorado USA and this place is similar to the night spots in Aspen or Vail if you've ever been there. You can come in ski boots (I did) but would also look OK if you were dressed in street clothes. The crowd is young - mostly 20- and 30-somethings when I was there - but I did not feel out of place and I am nearly 60. P.P.S. I don't smoke, but for those who do, they have a smokers' lounge (and no, I did not smell smoke from the other room so don't worry...)
