I just wanted a quick bite to eat and we stopped here as there was a sign in the window that said "famous scallop pie" or something along those lines. Staff were friendly and the inside is quite quirky. The pie is $12.80 so it's not cheap, in fact it's the most expensive I have seen in our Tassie travels. But I didn't know that at the time. The pastry was good, but the pie was only half full! I bit off a piece and could clearly see that the filling only reached half way up to the top. For a price like that I expect the pie to be full. I felt ripped off.thank you for calling in and taking the time to write a reviewApologies for the pie but if you ever come back this way feel free to dropin and I will give you a free scallop pie and a coffee or a drinkas a gesture , but the price is justified, we only use Tasmanian Scallops out of the $12.80 that is paid 10% of the cost goes to governemt for the GSTonce again thank you for the feedback

Went here with the family for the first time and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and the service excellent. The ribs melted in your mouth and were huge. We had to take some home. The kids were also entertained with crayons and paper tablecloths. Needless to say, the view out the window was also spectacular. With a fire burning in the fireplace, this was an evening to be remembered. Can't wait to go again, when next in Queenstown.

We had a wonderful dinner in Queenstown's best kept secret! The food was clearly fresh, not over-cooked and portions were generous but not over the top.A great location after a day exploring the town. Service was very prompt and the staff were quick to take our orders. Menu had a great variety to cater for all tastes..We would highly recommend for dinner.
