We went here for dinner twice while staying in Hervey bay, and loved the cocktail menu and the view over the bay. Good sharing plates and food options and good service. Was very surprised though to see the kitchen closed at 7:15pm on a Thursday night. Not living in Hervey Bay this is a little unusual and I really expected that the restaurant would to go much later. Iâm not sure if this is common there that restaurants close the kitchens at 7:15 pm but thatâs what They did the night we were there. But if you get in early and have an early dinner and drinks it is the perfect spot.

Food was nice. I have had both breakfast & lunch here. The flies are terrible, as can be the issue with most places along the esplanade. Seabreeze has table fans that keep the flies off the food, and I'd highly recommend Dan & Steph's get these also for customer comfort.

We visited the restaurant again as we were invited with friends. Our Kilpatrick Oysters were watery and lukewarm as were the meals. We didn't want to embarrass our friends so didn't say anything to the waitstaff (who tried very hard on a busy night) but for us, we just feel there are better places in Hervey Bay to eat at.

Everything about this place is good. We visited several times on a recent trip to Hervey Bay. It begins when you walk up the stairs and are greeted by the wonderful staff. We all ordered different meals and all meals were thoroughly enjoyed. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict is delicious along with the smokey bacon. The seafood share platter was served with quality fresh local seafood. The beers are icy cold - we even had a rum milkshake. The views are a bonus. Great customer service and good quality food. This site allows you to enjoy a walk into some wet lands dotted with ducks and bird life plus in some places water lilies either before or after you partake the delights from the cafe. You can just enjoy a coffee or take a meal. Available choices include Veg or GF. Meals were tastefully presented and ample sizes. Our flight from Sydney was delayed so arrived just at the end of the lunch time. Wasn't aware that 2.30 was the cut off time for meals, after this it is a choice of 3 snacks only. Staff a bit short and quite sarcastic. The snacks were ok but probably wouldn't go back. Actually was here for a week and didn't go back. Plenty of other places to eat with great staff and serviceHi Rob, we are sorry we didnât meet your expectations. Our kitchen is open from 6am-2.30pm weekdays with the café closing at 3.30pm daily (which is standard for most cafes in Hervey Bay). After the kitchen closes, we still offer a great variety of sweet and savoury options such as frittatas, lasagne, ham and cheese croissants and also varying sweets including brownies, caramel slice, biscuits, cakes etc. We also have a great range of fresh juices and hot and cold drinks. We really pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and this is something we regularly receive great feedback on. We are sorry again that we didnât meet your expectations. The Dock... I don't actually have the correct words to say how much of an incredible place this is. We often came here when we were only visiting the Bay and now we live here this is definitely our go-to place on a very regular basis. Firstly, the staff. We have never had a staff member who hasn't been anything but the utmost courteous and friendly person. The owners Mark & Lisa are the nicest people and definitely know how to make guests feel welcome, as do all of the friendly staff. A++++ for customer service, by far the best customer service in the Bay. The food is also always fresh, fast and delicious. Love the "Tapas" idea, so you can try an array of different things. Price is also very generous for the quality of the food you receive. Drinks are also very generous in pricing. Thanks again guys! We can never recommend you enough to whoever we speak to. Always a special time at one of the best in Hervey Bay.The greeting is always prompt as is the service. Our meals as per usual were fabulous and cooked to perfection. Serving size certainly more than adequate and never left wanting. Variety is plentiful with the usual problem of âwhat will we have tonight â.A big thanks to a great Hervey Bay quality restaurant.Thank you kevind for such a terrific review.
