This delightful but smallish Thai Restaurant under the Southport hi rises offers impeccable service , menus and tastes. Fast and efficient staff attend quickly to diners requests. Delicious Thai flavours emanate from their kitchen!Two of us for lunch tried a green chicken curry and the Chicken Larb. Both were delicious and expertly presented.Lunch and dinners plus take aways are catered for at very good prices.Mr Thai has a chef suggestion menu with great dishes like Golden prawns / fish , red duck curry or perhaps a jungle prawn , duck , chicken or beef curry !Certainly a different cuisine to experience.Stir fried and rice dishes are popular.

Visited for lunch after hearing very good reports. Not disappointed. After living and teaching in Asian countries for over 25 years I have a very extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine. The lunch was great value and the staff were very accommodating. Will definitely return for dinner soon.

We read the 4+ star reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to go for dinner. The entrees were okay although lukewarm and I suspect made elsewhere. The mains were well below average especially the massaman beef curry which was actually inedible. The staff were scruffy in track suit pants and the venue was also very scruffy. I have had some excellent Thai meals elsewhere but we would never go back to this dump.

Nice enough neighbourhood restaurant. The salads we ordered were a bit average - basically the same thing but with baby octopus arranged around one and slightly overcooked deep fried haloumi on the other. The stand out dish was the Cape Byron beef rib which was delicious. The desserts were nice enough, but it was an extremely limited menu. There are no non-alcoholic drinks appearing on any menu which is pretty poor, but the bar person made me a good enough virgin mojito on request. The other thing was we were jammed in the front window with another table for two - forced to sit side by side. There was only room for one table in that window guys. The service was very friendly and attentive, but if I was in Surfers again I would probably check out some other option.

Four of us decided to dine here (bookings essential) on Saturday night. They have two set menus for two or more people. ($75 or $90 per person) They actually let two of us pick one set menu and the other two picked the other menu. The food was amazing and plenty of it. They also have a huge range of Japanese whiskies. We had a visitor from down south - Melbourne, and we always bring visitors here.Edgar is always welcoming and Gavin is usually our chef. The soup is hot and delicious, the salad has the most amazing dressing - would love to steal it. The meat is always cooked as requested. Sauces yummo. The show is entertaining, and the service from the girls is top notch. The chefs are artists with salt on the hot plate at the end of the meal. Just wait. It's amazing. It is licenced and BYO wine, which I love. For the price and variety I love visiting here for lunch.In fact, I have booked my sisters 50th in the next few weeks.

Loved this place. The food was really really good, and the service was outstanding, from the Manager to every single staff that served us. It was a total surprise as we made a last minute decision to eat out (try to book if possible, its really popular and we were very lucky to get a table), but it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of the holiday. We had the most delicious meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. We arrived without a booking with 3 Mums and 6 kids. They were absolutely so accommodating, offering plastic plates and cups for all the kids. We took up half the inside of the restaurant and the guy was lovely to the children. We canât wait to go again.
