We went here for lunch on advice of our guide.We opted for the lunch buffet.There were many options for starters, soup, salad, bread, we had some salad which was good.From the buffet we had the rice with vegetables, good, and the red rice, which was too dry.One of the chicken dishes was a bit dry, as was the pork roast.All the other dishes like chicken curry, dahl curry, vegetables etc were very good and tasty.A good choice of deserts, fruits, cakes, mousses, etc. all very good.Friendly service. Nice view over the city from the terrace.The price of the buffet was 6,50 euro per person, including service and tax. A diet coke 2 euro. I read some good reviews on this place and wanted to find somewhere decent to take my partner for lunch on his birthday. Very pleased with the meals and service. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and minced lamb, and finished off with the watalappam and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The location was lovely overlooking Kandy city and the staff were very nice.

This is one of the only places I know in Kandy that is keeping up with trends. They always experiment with new cocktails and pitchers and their fishbowl cocktails are bomb! Only place in Sri Lanka that I've noticed to have Korean BBQ as well. Hands down the best bar in Kandy!Thank you for this kind-hearted review. Guess one of the best pizza outside of italy! Chef, waiter and hole staff is so friendly and great people. Still thinking where I had such a wonderful pizza for the last time.The location is not that easy to find, after 7pm you have to take the "backdoor" . What I liked most about this restaurant was fresh juices made from many uncommon local fruits like star fruit or dragon fruit. Food was really delicious and ambience of restaurant is pretty modern and clean for Sri Lanka. This is a restaurant chain across the country run by the Ministry of Agriculture and owned by the government. They serve all traditional food and fresh fruit juices.Prices are very cheap and food is very clean and healthy. You need to pay and order. There are around 8 - 10 individual ladies selling their food and you need to pay separately at each counter. All outlets have a car park and toilets. This is one of my favorite stop overs when I travel outstation from Colombo.

I ordered two chicken green curries and a vegetable dish as takeaway. The green curry chicken was delicious with a good quantity of chicken pieces. Mr Brain, the manager, also was very helpful in the selection f dishes.Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and is THE best thai restaurant in Kandy, hands down!
