This restaurant has the WORST waitress ever! The lady waitress with tattoos are legit the rudest and impolite staff ever served us. We have been to 5 star restaurants and street vendor diners, and this waitress is definitely the worst ever to be called a waitress. The restaurant owner definitely need to do something about this. From the greetings, the way she took our order paper and cleaned our table, it all were sooo rude and impolite. Definitely not a recommended restaurant!!!

First time customer here. Read the review online and pretty impressed with 4.8/5 rating. Decided to try.Service was excellent and place is clean (the front room). Back room is dark and kitchen seemed to be bit cramped and messy. We ordered otak2 (grilled fish cake) and sate babi manis (marinated pork sweet satay). Both entrée got our thumbs up. We were very pleased with the taste! The otak2 dish tasted quite authentic and could pass as the ones we usually ate in Indonesia.Next, soto ayam and rice. Taste was okay-ish, not fantastic.Nasi uduk with chicken, anchovies, rice, and sliced egg. Again, taste was okay but not amazing. If you want to get a great nasi uduk (quite similar to nasi lemak, you'd better get them from Mamak in Chatswood/Chinatown or Hojiak in Strathfield ). The sambal terasi was nice, though.I was looking forward to eat the cumi2 bumbu Bali (grilled squid with Balinese sauce).... but this dish was a total disappointment :(The sauce was quite nice but not really tasted like authentic Balinese sauce. The squid was quite rubbery... hope it would improve next time.Would definitely come back and try oher dishes.Please also note that this restaurant is cash only! We spent $90 for 2 people (2 entrées, 3 mains, 1 whole coconut, 2 soft drinks, also ordered for take away 1 serve of nasi goreng/fried rice).

This restaurant serves Indonesian cuisines. The food was nice, the service was exceptional and the price was reasonable. We ordered half dozen different things and shared them. I really enjoyed the food and looking forward to visit them in near future.

Authentic delicious food, some very attentive Indian Waiters. Lovely Decore, love the very oversized glasses. View of the passing parade and fire station at The Cross is the best to be had. Weâre regulars, it was so lovely to meet The Restauranteur last evening whoJails from Kerala, in Southern India where weâd visited a few years back. LOVED INDIA.Parking can be tricky. However Kings Cross Parking Station is a five minute walk.

One of the warmest and friendliest customer experience I had. Very professional server and welcoming service at the entrance door and out. They offer a wide range of vegetarian options, perhaps my choice wasnât the best, but I wasnât impressed at all: very salty and it arrived too quickly to be made on the spot. It wasnât very easy to digest at all furthermore. After the opinions I read here I had high expectations and I really wanted to give a nice review considering the nice service, but the food just was not at the level at all.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding and the menu was extensive. Great place for all varied Thai taste. The hospitality was fantastic and I felt very comfortable in a non pretentious special environment. Highly recommended for a special Thai dinner.

For starters this Restaurant is located in Kingsford not Kensington.Let me start with the positives The food was absolutely delicious and fresh.The price and service was good.On the negative side You are unable to book and have to queue out the front.Not a fan.We were asked to eat in there other (Korean) restaurant 2 doors down which I didn't have a problem with. I am not sure how the food handling act would view the fact that the waitiers walked down the street in the middle of the light rail construction with no coverings on the food.I understand that this restaurant serves Halal food but to prohibit Alcohol from being consumed on premise was a bit over the top.I don't think I will be revisiting in the near future.

Staff are helpful and friendly, food is great and cocktails always hit the mark. Book if you donât want to queue in the street. Sushi train is good but Iâd suggest ordering from the drinks menu.Yet to see this place less than busting!

Delicious and fresh. Lunch special meals are reasonable. The atmosphere is good and safe. They also have the play area for children to play while parents are still eating or talking. Nowadays it is not easy to find authentic Japanese restaurants in Australia. Kokoroya is one of Japanese restaurants that can provide good Japanese food and I want to go back to eat again.

Really nice little place with outdoor seating near the ocean. Massaman curry and chicken pad thai good. Kingfish appetizer and black sticky rice dessert excellent. Some wonderful hard ciders (agave ginger!). The staff are incredibly nice, good service.
