This buffet features a very large variety of foods and a hibachi grille, where the chef prepares to order whatever the customer wants to be fried. Prices are very reasonable. Of what we ate, I thought the green beans were outstanding and the cajun shrimp was pretty good. The egg drop soup was also very good. Most of my Chinese favs, such as the lo mein, the fried rice and the sugar buns, were a little lacking in flavour. No complaints, but no kudos, either.

This new restaurant (they have banners placed over the signage of the previous establishment) was clean and modern inside. I ordered a 8-piece roll with avocado and shrimp. It was fresh and delicious with a nice-sized portion. I also had an order of Nasi Goreng, a stir-fried rice dish with vegetables and I added chicken. It was very tasty and I was barely able to finish eating it as it was a very large bowl. Service was great and the bill came to a around $25 including the tip.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but the slight dinge didnât taint our meal lolFantastic experience with very entertaining chef. Fun jokes, hilarious shrimp toss, and good info on cuts of meat and sauces. I had steak and scallops, scallops were medium sized and cooked perfectly. Husband had filet and ate every bite. Kids had salmon and chicken. We ordered shrimp and crab roll appetizer, but should have passed - they were just ok and thereâs SO MUCH food that comes with the meal.

Initially, I wrote a very positve review about this place, as we had several good experiences. However, something has changed. During our last 2 visits, we noticed that the food quality has deteriorated. It seemed like they had not taken the same care with the Pho.....(maybe the chef is different?)......tasteless broth, very little meat, small bits of noodles (like they gave us the bottom of the package).... Very disappointing.This used to be a regular stop for us (2-3 time a month), but we will not be returning......

You know you're in trouble when one old American guy is the only cook. The food was really tasteless, although it might pass with inexperienced local clientele. Difficult to do with Thai, but everything was quite dull. With one lone cook for 30-40 patrons, the food also took literally an hour to arrive, which is way too slow for a little storefront place like this. The too-open kitchen lacks a strong enough exhaust fan so the entire one-room atmosphere is filled with a fine mist of oily smoke. My Chinese wife was choking from it, and our eyes were watering from the residual sting on the way home. We both needed showers afterwards, and our clothes needed laundering to get rid of the smell. The front door is a single-swing, with no vestibule of the kind that is common in northern climates, so every opening let in large gulps of very chilly air. And it was April - I can't imagine sitting by that door in February! One loud flamboyant server, luckily, did not serve our table. Thankfully, our server was quite sweet, genuine, humble, and authentic, which was really the only bright spot in the whole experience. There are at least two other local choices much better than this. NOT recommended.

This is a standard Chinese restaurant, with Americanized dishes and smaller portions. Feels a little stingy, but the prices are the attraction because they're very low. Where else can you get a complete lunch for six dollars? Over-rated by locals, but Erie is way inland so simplified or substituted ingredients are apparently acceptable here.

A good friend of mine told me about this restaurant and how excellent the food was. Three of us met here today for lunch. It's s charming Oriental restaurant with friendly staff. Their menu is huge. Two of us got Sesame chicken, I can't remember what my other friend ordered. The portions are LARGE and nice and hot temperature wise. We each also had fried rice and an egg roll, both very good. The prices are very reasonable. Very nice place to have lunch or dinner!t

Erie's Thai scene has boomed since Khao Thai downtown opened several years ago. Thai Eatery is a great addition, servicing the Millcreek Mall area with quick, delicious, and traditional Thai food. It's a place I continue to go most times I am in Erie. Well worth a visit!

Because there were Asian diners I have to assume that it's either the best around or there is a separate menu for them, but the food was tasteless. Served as individual dishes instead of "family style" the portions were large and the surroundings attractive but the service was sullen and the left overs not even worth taking home.

We decided to stop at this place on the way back from a day trip. I wanted to try something that wasn't franchised. This seemed like a nice local place. There are two sides to the restaurant, one is bar and the other is the family eatery side.We sat on the side family side. The menu is extensive. There are a lot of things on the menu. I got battered fish and it was pretty good. I would say that this is a nice place off the beaten path. You can tell that this place has a lot of locals who come in for a bit to eat. Everyone was very nice. I would come here again.
