We were quickly seated upon arrival for our Saturday dinner reservation but not given a choice whether inside or outside despite ample seats throughout. We sat outside which had very basic decor and really no ambiance. Our server was attentive yet too casual and hurried. I noticed the attire of most employees including ours was not uniform and somewhat sloppy and soiled. The overall timing of our meal was way too fast including the appetizer bread arriving after our main course was on table. The food was good (only reason 3 rather than 2 stars) but the overall experience was not worth the price. DKB,Thank you so much for the valuable feedback regarding your visit. I was happy to read you were seated quickly and that you enjoyed the food but I'm disappointed we did not execute our usual standard of service or value during your experience. Firebirds was founded on the highest of standards and when we fail to exceed the expectations of our guests, it is imperative that we rectify the experience. Wanted to check this place out for myself. Couldnât believe some of the reviews were real. Itâs an unusual place, looks like a cookie-cutter fast food restaurant from the outside but the inside is pretty cool. Dark, lots of wood, indoor and outdoor bar and an outdoor seating area that allows smoking, alas only cigarettes, not cigars. Donât really get the logic there, and Iâm sure itâs only a matter of time until cannabis products are acceptable but nothing else is. Oh well, not my shtick.Anyway the comments included things like they werenât welcome, it took forever to get their drink, their orders werenât right, Etc.I walked in, the host was extremely friendly and pointed me to the outdoor bar. I sat there and I would say within 30 seconds was given menus and had my drink order taken. So far so good. I took one of their beer recommendations and it was outstanding. After about 10 minutes I got to the point where I wanted to order another beer and I noticed that there was nobody at the outside bar, and I waited for probably a total of 10 minutes till anybody came back. It was a different bartender, he was ringing somebody up and I just politely asked him when he was done if he could take my order. He was very friendly and said sure what do you want, so I told him. I ordered a burger, he said âlettuce, tomatoes, onion, Catchup and mustard?â I said everything but tomatoes and he acknowledged, and I also ordered an order of boneless wings.I was astonished how fast the wings came out. It couldnât have been more than three minutes. Even someone sitting next to me remarked on it. However they were conventional wings with the bones, not an enormous deal, maybe I misread or said something wrong. They were good, not great. Iâm not a wings fan in general but there was nothing about these that blew me away. Fair enoughThey finally broughy my second beer and then a few minutes later, very quickly, they brought my burger. Well there was cheese and bacon, and the burger itself was absolutely outstanding, but there was nothing Else. No lettuce, no onion, no catchup, no mustard. Again, not a huge deal, Iâm not obsessive and just catchup alone did the trick. Fried were excellent. Meanwhile, note that at no time while I was sitting there did anybody ever offer me any silverware or napkin, And there were is no cutlery visible or within reach.I guess maybe itâs expected that you eat burgers and fries with your hands. I was still OK with that. But I was surprised at how there was such a long gap with nobody out at the bar and how they got a number of things wrong with my order.But I couldâve completely ignored it except the woman next to me ordered salmon and very politely asked if they could cook it custom or if it only came one way. The waitress was very nice and said - no however youâd like it - so the woman ordered it medium rare and made a point of saying that she did not like it cooked dry. After a reasonable amount of time they came out with her salmon and after a few bites I heard her husband ask how it was. She said it was cooked dry. A few minutes later a waitress came up and asked how her meal was and the husband prodded her to tell the waitress. They were not obnoxious at all, they were very respectful and the waitress was very nice and insisted on taking it back and cooking another piece properly. She did, and in a reasonable amount of time came out with the new piece. But that was it. The bread, the Florentine sauce, everything else that had been sent back was gone and only a naked piece of salmon in return.I would go back as they have a great beer selection, and the burger was great, but I would be a little more attentive to what I order. It seems like a systemic problem so I canât just pass it off on a couple of cranky reviewers.

My wife and I enjoy coming here for a couple reasons and I hope that they never change ...1. The bar area is an overlooked and very quaint place to spend time and catch a score and have a drink2. The food is always spectacular and well portion for your money3. There is valet so donât worry about the weatherEnjoy!

I am a repeat patron. Easy access and plenty of parking.The new theater and dining complex across the street creates some competition.Easy going restaurant with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The layout is fun, the action not as much.Limited choice in craft brews, varied menu, with something for everyone.The entrees were sizable and we skipped desert.

Sat outside on a beautiful summer evening, surrounded by the ornamental plants and flowers in the plaza where the restaurant sits on Chagrin Boulevard. I ordered the Lola, a delicious burger with Symonâs Signature Pickled Onions with Cheddar Cheese. The burger was smaller, but enough when you order a side dish. I had the Rosemary Fries, skinny slices of heaven that capped off a nice meal.

We called ahead to restaurant to make sure that there could be something for the vegetarian in our group of 4 to eat. " No problem! We can do anything ! " was the exuberant answer. We had a lovely table~the server said chef could do anything in the lines of vegetarian. Server was told "any vegetables, dairy is good, and spicy even better" The meals showed up after iffy salads and the steaks were delicious and perfect. Vegetarian dish? Steamed/roasted vegetables with no flavor at all. No cheese or spice~ nothing but vegetables and tasteless... In fairness to the restaurant we did not complain as we were guests of a friend and did not want to ruin their dinner. But, this is simply unacceptable. We certainly understand if restaurants do not want to offer vegetarian fare it is fine. But, when we take the time to call ahead and then ask the server and get what could be best described as hospital food it is ridiculous and frustrating. Any restaurant with a good chef has always made amazing fun dish for the us in the past. We never expect or ask this on a busy night and with only three tables of guests at Red when we dined they certainly were not busy.

This restaurant has amazing employees who are like family. Itâs so nice seeing the regulars like me every morning, with newspaper and breakfast. This restaurant has amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all in-between! I definitely recommend if you are hungry for amazing deli and amazing people. This is a Cleveland monument and Clevelandâs charm. The Corkys community will never make you wanna eat anywhere else!

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. She loves steak and I knew she would live the food here. Yes, it is pricey. But, ooooh so wonderfully great....food and service was lovely. I had the bison steak....awesome. perfectly seasoned and cooked. Had the Brussel sprouts....I think there was more bacon that sprouts...haha...but totally delicious. Also had the Caesar Salad. Perfect. My friend had the 14 oz Francona, the chopped salad and the au gratin potatoes. She loved them all. Ice tea was great. Meal was just under $150. for the two of us. We had no liguor. Will go back for another special treat. One sidebar, we sat in a booth in the bar area, the second one from the piano. He tried to drown out all the conversations....it was way too loud....that was the only downside. We got there early and only had to experience that after about 6:30. We'll go early again or ask to be seated in the dining room away from the piano. It really was too loud.

If you like delis, this is your place. The menu is full of traditional jewish dishes, from brisket to cold cuts to borscht and matzah ball soup. Think of what you would find in a traditional ny deli, and this is better. Loved the wording on the menu, and the way the staff talks about the food. We had the hot dogs, brisket, pastrami, burger, blinzes and eclair. Portions are big, so be ready. If you like delis, this is worth going out of your way for.... Definately will be back.
